Castillo doesn’t move the needle any more than Chapman does.
Just regroup for next year add more pieces in the off-season.
At worst, they’re still out of contention and Chapman can rebuild his value.

I don’t think his bat would fit well in Seattle honestly but at the very least he provides elite defense at 3rd for their plethora of great starting pitchers. But unless the Giants cover some of the contract, I don’t see it.

This is the team that the @SFGiants should trying to trade Adames or Chapman too. Eat 1 of these bad contracts and they will take on Castillo.
