I just spent 3 weeks in Japan and I miss it already. - the quiet. people talk quietly, no phones on speaker. - people drive politely - no trash on the street - restaurant staff are attentive, food is always quick etc I want to go back

Carnivore here since Dec 2021. But…currently traveling all over Japan for a couple weeks and the pastries are just so good😭😭😭. Planning on fasting when I get back to the states.

@AlpacaAurelius I’m in Tokyo right now. Being a country girl with land, this whole concrete jungle thing makes me sad. No eye contact, everyone crams into trains and stares at their phone. Rarely any talking. Folks look exhausted and the young girls look like real life anime.

Japan gets it. forest bathing instead of meds, wagyu, sitting on the floor, baths daily, incredible toilets, samurai, mochi, sushi, ikigai, ramen, tatami beds, fermented veggies, home cooked meals, meditation, walking everywhere, organ meats makes sense why they live so long

Let’s do some critical thinking and pretend like we actually know how President Trump communicates. Should he be taken literally? Like you really believe he’s going to vaporize the Persian population? Really? Have you been paying attention the last 11 years? President Trump speaks in terms of POWER, which is the only language our adversaries understand. Carefully worded diplomatic statements make the UN feel nice and cozy but also don’t get anything done. Pay attention to his actions. And so far the actions have left the Iranian military in shambles, their ballistic mission program nearly gone, and their nuclear program nearly destroyed. The President is rightfully prioritizing the need for overwhelming force in order to open the Straits of Hormuz. That’s it. That’s the action we can expect.

It's mainly that they eat a lot of fish, and have a lower-fat diet, the combination of which is protective against obesity, due to reduced intake of seed oils. Unfortunately they still suffer from other aspects of metabolic disease.
