@rhayadercompute @C64Discord Much better playability, in my opinion. Few technical hiccups. Absolutely love the music and graphics.

Among these six Rob Hubbard Commodore 64 games, which do you consider the best? Rob Hubbard was the musician behind some of the most iconic 8-bit music from the 1980s.

Another truly epic game turns 40 this year: Gunship, a groundbreaking 1986 combat flight simulator, puts players in the cockpit of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. Realistic flight over varied terrains in training (U.S.), Southeast Asia, Central America, Middle East, and Europe theaters. You arm Hellfire missiles for tanks, rockets for infantry, 30mm cannon via helmet sight, and Sidewinders for air duels. As part of your career, you earn medals for kills and objectives. Incredible wireframe graphics, immersive sound effects, and depth were one of the many strong points of this classic, which at the time had no equal. It sold over 500k copies, a massive figure for 1986. It wasn't an easy game and - in typical MicroProse fashion - it came with an extensive manual, teaching you technical aspects of the helicopter, physics principles, and of course how to control the AH-64. Not a quick "just wing it" game, but requiring patience, focus and skill.
