I am glad that more of us are raising these issues and thankful that @SmalhotraRBI @RBI is the first regulator after #CCPA notified dark patterns as illegal to act. We @LocalCircles have written to 5 other regulators and hopeful that they will also act. As far as banking#darkpatterns go what you have illustrated comes under #forcedaction dark patterns where for consumers to access certain services they are made to share unnecessary & redundant information soniy can be harvested later.
