Portfolio as of today. This is my first post on here and I'm looking for some feedback on my current picks, I understand there is a lot of overlap with the 3 ETF's I currently hold so I am looking for suggestions on consolidating these 3 holdings. Any suggestions are welcome. #Investments

@ben__investing yep you make a good point mate, maybe I will fall victim to the excitement of having my own conviction on a stock and it going horribly wrong! however if that was ever going to happen I would prefer it to be now haha

It’s an interesting take. On one hand, I agree. On the other, time is also on our side because it allows the ‘boring’ investment to compound over many years, something that maybe the older investors don’t get. There’s advantages to both strategies and it’s hard to say which is the correct one! 😅

I’m 25 years old. 80% of my portfolio is the S&P 500. Am I being too cautious? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Should I make any changes? 🤔

@DividendDrip Time is all you need, the earlier you start the better, even 5 years can make a huge difference in the end figure

Sometimes it’s this simple. Reduce your spending, invest the rest in a global ETF. Overtime, increase the reduction in spending, to invest more. 20 years, you’ll be a millionaire.

£600 saved for Ibiza this week. £600 invested for 30 years at 10% return = £11,902. But some things are worth more than compound interest. I invest every month without fail. But I also live.

My biggest holding in my portfolio with 50% is The Vanguard FTSE All-World (Acc) $VWRP Im currently £51.11 7.36% up since i started in January 2026

End of day P/L #2: P/L= -£1.10 Swapped out my VHYL Holding for 50 shares of JEQP. Considering this is meant to be my "Dividend Component" of the portfolio I have opted for the switch, I prefer the monthly income which I can then re-invest more frequently.

End of day P/L #1: P/L = +£48.83 Another day in the green for the most part, I do wonder when a pullback will occur as this cannot go on...
