When T.J. Ford got drafted by Milwaukee, he was putting together a stellar rookie campaign until that horrific night in February 2004. Taking that hard fall against the Timberwolves and suffering a severe spinal cord contusion was one of the scariest injuries I've ever seen in a game. The fact that he missed a year and a half, battled through temporary paralysis, and still fought his way back to have a solid NBA career shows nothing but pure heart. He’s a massive "what if" in NBA history, but an even bigger comeback story.
