⚠️ UPDATE: An assessor from Spangler Restoration just came out to assess the issue. They wouldn't tell us it's not mold but they'll be cleaning all of it if the estate signs off. Hopefully it would be sorted after that. They'll also be cleaning at our American neighbors next door. We're so happy there is a possibility that we can continue to stay here, mold- or as they put it, "organic matter"-free. If my "whining" helps protect my son's health and that of Americans, it's a win in my books. Things are happening! I'll keep you guys posted. 🙏🙏🙏

Since I mentioned the mold issue here on X the support for our journey severely tanked. Like hitting a brick wall. Guess some only stick around when's it's going good. It's universal. I remain grateful to the people who understand and support us through this. Thinking about no longer documenting our journey though. Take care. God bless.

A short recap of what we did over the last two weeks. Our route was Boston to Savannah, GA, down the coast and then back up to Clemson: - Swam in a lot of lakes in Pennsylvania because of the heatwave - Watched a pie eating contest in Virginia - Celebrated 4th of July in Washington DC - Relaxed at the beaches in Delaware - Saw wild horses in Chincoteague, VA - Went to the Outer Banks in North Carolina - Had a baby bear block our road in North Carolina - Tried many new fast food chains like Bojangles and Sonic - Ate a lot (probably too much) at Taco Bell - Played minigolf in Myrtle Beach - Visited beautiful cities like Charleston and Savannah - Saw an alligator and a lot more cool wildlife
