@RuthWells1967 @sciam Ad hominems usually tell me somebody hasn't really researched a topic. I had friends paid. Of course it happened. By tacking on C19 to the death certificates, hospitals were paid a bit more for their care.

Partially incorrect, and keep in mind I’m mostly pro-vax. Covid vaccine did not have proper phase 3 testing. That takes years, not months. Overall, it was a big net positive for the 45+ age group, but probably a net negative for those under 35. It was always a risk, but so was Covid, especially past age 45. Masks were not effective for covid, except for N-95s, which are uncomfortable and weren’t widely available for most of the pandemic. Covid was indeed far worse than the flu, but only during 2020 through early 2022. The flu actually beat Covid in 2024-25 regarding deaths, hospitalizations, and infections in all age groups in the US. The Omicron mutation of late 2021 was what ended the pandemic. The left thinks the vaccines did it (false). The right thought Covid was flu-like all along (false). But it’s been flu-like for the past 4 years, which would’ve happened with or without the vaccine.

He's right that independent creators can be just as dishonest as the mainstream media, but there's a key difference. The independent creators sold us their lies while claiming to be the truth-telling alternative. That was their whole value proposition; it was their reason for being in the first place. So they haven't just failed to tell the truth. They've intentionally exploited our hunger for it. I don't know what you call that, other than evil.

Since then I have spoken with many who have been injured including healthcare professionals. I agree with some of your statements and I disagree with others. This vaccine harmed the healthy

I hate to say this, but many conservatives (I am a conserbative) believed compete lies in the wholesale rejection of official narratives on Covid and vaccines have been The truth is: vaccines do not cause autism, VAERS data cannot be taken at face value, Covid vaccines were properly tested, mRNA vaccines are not gene therapy, turbo-cancers are a myth, vaccines were always there to reduce probability of infection, and severity if infected, masks reduced probability and severity of infection (think Philadelphia in 1919), and Covid is not just flu. These things can be established objectively and calmly if one is not engaged in an emotive ideological war. Because much official and media communication was OTT, the baby was thrown out with the bathwater.

Resting heart rate is one of the simplest longevity markers available. No lab test required. If a healthy adult consistently sits around 80 bpm at rest, it deserves attention. If it sits around 55–65 bpm, it usually reflects a well-conditioned cardiovascular system. Your heart will beat roughly 2–3 billion times in a lifetime. How fast you spend those beats matters.

@Chris_Hohnholz @keithrobphil I am curious, what the main point was. I came out of the prosperity gospel. I see in the people I still know in it that they idolize Trump. Why is his spiritual advisor more of a problem than he is? He grew up under Norman Vincent Peale's teachings & is drawn to this.

Some Christians are pro-Trump but bemoan the presence of Paula White in the Oval. Why? What's better about Trump? His policies? His morals? His theology? What's the difference between them? If any, she would probably be better on abortion. I asked this one, and he ran away.
