@Jaber891135016 @KeithLammia @buckadeath It is still being underdeveloped though, the pressure vessel could be made of tungsten reinforced with oxidation resistant material and run it at 1000C temperatures, we'd reach combined cycle efficiencies (64%+) with a compact machine (higher TIT -> smaller machine)

though it is much cheaper for us (both moneywise and ethically) because it doesnt use lithium batteries
a civilization capable or creating a dyson sphere will not have these issues, PV will be the way
