@NWischoff YES! I wrote an entry in my journal about this— I phrased it as Hungry Horses become the unicorns. Founders able to grow and thrive under the worst conditions are battle-tested and will be able to accomplish even more with resources. A Wharton grad won’t always thrive in famine😉

Sat in on a small group presentation about what all of the best companies (Meta, Airbnb, etc) have in common led by a blue chip firm. Was totally useless. Pattern matching is mostly a useless exercise. The key thing seems pretty obvious. The founder refused to give up and for years.
