Today's video is about the legacy of @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN - his status as a video game auteur, what innovation in video games really looks like, and how what a Criterion Collection for video games could look like.
Did you know that April is my 4 year anniversary of becoming a Christian? 💕✝️ I didn't want the month to go by without commemorating and sharing 4 of the many things I have learned in 4 years of being a Christian - how my life has felt so much calmer and more blessed. Talking to God regularly, having this relationship in my life, has made all the difference, and I wish this kind of peace happiness for everyone reading this message. May you have blessed day and feel God's love in your heart! 🙏
Missed the best part?! What is the best part
This is regarding Yun-Ta Tsai talking about the drone shots of the new production cybercabs.
Any idea what he’s talking about?
fuuuuck I tried playing lossless FLAC audio files on my Tesla and I feel like I could notice a difference
now I might be stuck pulling that USB drive in and out to keep audio files on there 😭
is there an SSD drive that you can connect to over wifi or something
I DREAM of voice acting in the “A Fox in Space” Star Fox fan project from @VascularSpasm
PLEASE consider me. I’ve got voice acting credits and am a credited voice actor on IMDB. I love our boy Fox. 🥹
@aNichiporchik@teslaeurope Wow, does sound like an interesting edge case. I’m based in the US, but very tuned into FSD in general. Interested to watch the progression in the EU. I imagine it will be trickier overall to perfect than here in the states with more diverse road rules.
@LairGaming@teslaeurope I think the big test will be the stupid 3 lane highways that run through the Baltics (a1 aka via baltica). That road has 3 lanes, but 2 way traffic. So the mid lane is used for passing. I’ve seen so many head on collisions there.
Here’s @teslaeurope FSD taking on the worst Dutch car city: Hilversum.
Had 2 semi interventions: didn’t disengage but had to make it go manually:
1. Nav was pointing straight but the car chose a right-only lane, forced a lane change indicator and gas and it readjusted
2. Roundabout w split lane failed: was supposed to go straight but hugged a right only lane, used gas manually and it readjusted
3. Small issue: It parked perfectly into a tight space but didn’t fully go into the stall
It also seems to ignore the “I have right of way” when it comes to bicycles that have a clear yield sign. This makes sense for safety.
I’m biased because I’ve been driving FSD for 7 years in the US. For people who have this as their first experience - minds will be blown. This is absolutely next level and all European car brands will suddenly realize how far behind they are. The future is autonomous and I can’t wait until this rolls out EU wide.
@aNichiporchik@teslaeurope Right. I think for the uninitiated, it’s impossible to imagine how helpful this technology is going to be in extending the independence of older folks too.
It’s as bad now as it’s ever going to be too (and it’s gotten very good)!
I notice lately that less and less posts are getting community notes for being AI slop. It’s like everyone’s just accepting the inevitable.
The AI slop future doesn’t have to happen because AI has advanced to lifelike quality. It may just happen because of apathy.
@SMB_path@FracSlap The Y is still the best car for the money, I think. A ton of utility. Spacious interior, lots of storage space to haul family/stuff. Cybertruck is excellent, but a Tesla feels like a Tesla to me and the higher cost isn’t completely justifiable unless you just need/want a truck.
Hey @FracSlap … I hope you’re sitting down when you read this
Should I get a 3, a Y, or a cybertruck?
I’m leaning Y for the extra cargo space for Costco runs and such 😂
I’ve watched Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie FIVE times since I bought it on Apple TV. Easily a new classic movie. I can’t even pin down exactly what I love so much. Everyone should watch it.
The discourse about @geoffkeighley lately is insane. Dude loves the games industry and has poured a lot of sweat into making sure there’s a place for developers and gamers to share a large scale annual event again. He’s done incredible work that has benefited the entire hobby.
@GoKineticFiber I’d call it a hybrid between Humanz and Plastic Beach. It’s never as good as Plastic Beach but there are standout songs I really like. There’s one called Orange County that is my favorite so far.
@LairGaming What if Netflix starts only showing it now. And then Netflix dies. And then Hulu starts showing it. And then like Apple TV or something 🤯🤯🤯
