Joel is being held in remand in Long Bay Prison, and he has been solitary confinement since his arrest on 20 November 2025. Joel is making another application for bail, this time to the Supreme Court of NSW. We all know that he is a young father estranged from his family. He is very appreciative of the hundreds of letters of support he has received so far since being imprisoned. While he has been in prison more charges have been laid against him, and he is now facing 10 charges in three different States that pertain to political speech.
