One of the most frustrating things about the internet is people who share AI images and info THEY KNOW TO BE FAKE as truth. I seriously wish these people's mothers had given them more attention.

I am currently being emotionally extorted by a 30lb animal who hasn’t eaten in exactly 45 minutes. ​The vet said “maybe lose a pound or two,” and now my dog is acting like he’s starring in a Victorian tragedy about a starving orphan. He actually sighed. A deep, soulful, "I'll never see a piece of cheese again" kind of sigh. ​Is it really a diet if it feels like a civil rights violation? Asking for a friend (the friend is the dog).

You cannot go anyhwere in the US anymore without feeling taking advantage of. Every restaurant, every lease agreement, every purchase. Everything is so blatantly predatory. Like they don't even care to be subtle about the fact that they're operating in bad faith. And we're all just submissive to it

My experience is that this hasn’t always been the case, but it’s absolutely true now.

@ZubyMusic I encounter it, as well as the not getting hypotheticals, at just about every turn now, and rarely did so prior to maybe 2013ish. It’s weird.

A lot of people are incapable of second order thinking. I know this seems impossible if you are, but it's true.
