@kmac8008 @3rdeye_rav3n Protect companies? All I said is pay your damn debts. Prices are higher because those costs are built in. Yes interest rates are predatory, read the damn agreement. I learned early on paying off credit card interest only to use a card if you can pay it off the next cycle.

@LanceBrauch @3rdeye_rav3n They loan 15,000 them you have to pay back 40,000 after 6 years of you have low income. They are predatory and take advantage of poor people. It’s one thing if it’s friends or family, but why do u protect companies who are already paid back but demand triple in interest?

My neighbor seriously built a deck like 3 inches from my fence… 😭 No conversation. No warning. No consideration whatsoever. Now every time I walk into my backyard it feels like their entire deck is basically sitting on top of my property line. I understand people can do what they want with their yard… but at some point common courtesy should still exist. Who thinks this is okay?! 💀

My uncle bought a house in 1985 for $80k on a $25k salary. Paid it off in 15 years. Today that same house is worth $450k. My salary is $42k. To buy that same house now, I need $90k down payment. My uncle’s down payment was $8k he had it in 8 months. I’d need 11 years for that same house. Different economy. He won’t stop telling me to just buy property😣

John Cornyn is out! Texans have had enough with politicians campaigning one way and then governing another. They and many Republican voters are tired of hearing speeches about the Constitution while watching everyone in Washington ignore it whenever it becomes inconvenient. That is why Cornyn lost. The Republicans who couldn't pass the SAVE America Act showed their colors, and honestly, they're in trouble here. They'd better start listening to the people because look at how eager we are to throw clowns like them OUT. Texas is still Texas today. I really didn’t want to say anything, but here we are… all afternoon the guy across the street has been out doing yard work completely shirtless like he’s at the beach, not in the middle of a neighborhood where families are out walking and kids are riding bikes, and I tried to ignore it at first because it’s not my business, but after hours of it it just starts to feel unnecessary and out of place, especially when this isn’t some private backyard tucked away, it’s right out in the open where everyone has to see it, and at that point it stops feeling casual and starts feeling uncomfortable, and yeah maybe some people won’t care, but not everyone wants to deal with that while just going about their day, so I ended up making a formal complaint just so there’s a record, because if it keeps happening it’s only going to make things more awkward for everyone around here.
