The lean & body positioning is an extremely reliable tell. Here’s why photographers tell men to lean into women in photos: 1️⃣ Most men are oblivious to body language signals and only kind of feel “something is wrong” but don’t know what so never complain. 2️⃣ Women OTOH are extremely aware of whether a photo makes them look as if the man dotes all over them or not. 3️⃣ Women who want their photos to show the man doting on them (which is not all women, but is some of them) COMPLAIN to photographers when their pictures don’t show this (“It just feels like we’re there, like there isn’t even a relationship! This photo is terrible!” This is her telling the photographer the photograph fails to show the man being attentive enough to her). 4️⃣ Photographers have learned, from experience, that the woman is the person they are trying to please with their pictures, because women often complain if a picture doesn’t come out how they hope; meanwhile, men never seem to care and almost never complain. 5️⃣ Therefore, photographers will do everything in their power to make the woman look as good as possible, including telling the man to do things that make him look subservient to her. You need to know going in that a photographer will be trying to urge you into a position he wants you to be in JUST TO BE SAFE in case your woman is the dominating sort and will complain to him after if the pictures do not make her look like the center of the universe. You need to be able to counter the photographer’s directions. If he tells you to lean into her, instead pull her more into you. If he tells you to lean your head, offer to do a seated shot instead “if I’m too tall.” Once he starts feeling that you are pushing back, and are going to make him sound like he doesn’t know how to do his job if he keeps ordering you around, he will back off and take the pictures.

We grew up around younger women. We saw how they told us we were not on their level. They were partying with older men, getting into clubs for free, sitting in VIP sections, having no jobs but wearing expensive clothes, hair and the latest phones, with their bills being paid. They had so many older men they could call for money and gifts, and we saw cars coming to pick these women up at universities every Friday night. They call us broke for not having a car and money at 22 years old even thought they don’t have a car. Meanwhile, we were hustling and focused on making money. We finally made it in our late 30s, and now you want men to go date a woman who is 40 because she is “mature”? Mature in what? Multiple dicks , trauma, heartbreak, and high body counts? No. Let these men go enjoy what you enjoyed at a young age. What happened to those men you were partying with? Why didn’t they marry you?
