It offers company in loneliness, nourishment for a weary mind. It provides solace when vulnerability overwhelms us, reassurance that we are still loved and worthy when things go wrong. I've seen so much suffering in my own life, and what kept me going was joy and hope. During this sensitive time, instead of speaking harshly to our fellow human beings, let's come together and focus on mental health. Sadly, mental health still isn't at the center of our conversations.

There seems to be some confusion about the SAVE America Act. If it becomes law, you will NOT be able to vote with your drivers license alone. You’d need: 1. A passport, which more than half of Americans don’t have and costs at least $130 OR 2. A birth certificate PLUS your photo ID with matching names, which nearly 70 million married women lack OR 3. Military services papers (not a military ID alone) with sensitive info. I’m voting NO.

Interesting There is a lot of talk about funding, production etc. that seems important but also misses the main issue: Why are “conservative” organizations and “right wing” groups not even hiring conservatives, dissidents or those with right wing beliefs? This has been an issue with almost every pop up organization from Angel Studios to whatever the latest and greatest “right wing conservative group/thinktank/cultural apparatus” is. It’s obviously important to build culture, and have a roster of talent for producing our own ecosystem of works. But when the organizations that are either tasked with this or self proclaimed champions who will deliver on this go down this road, we see an endless barrage of leftists, feminists, Hilary Clinton voters, “Bernie Bros”, LGBTQ and Gender Hustlers that get hired on instead of straight white Christian males. Am I the only one that thinks this is a huge problem?

Question to anyone out there: I have a young man (22 yrs old) in my extended family who is able-bodied and smart but literally won’t do anything with himself. Rarely leaves the house, never went to college, has never worked. Will not drive a car. Plays video games a lot. Often doesn’t leave his room when we come visit. But if you talk to him he’s bright and easy to talk to and nice. Could do well in life. Often has undiagnosable mystery ailments that have been used to justify his inactivity but nothing concrete. What is this, really? Anxiety? Depression? I’ve never seen anything like it. All I do is pray for him.
