@MuffetMcGraw We are in the middle of a conflict that clearly has affected the economy. We should not be surprised by how gas prices affect the economy. Unfortunately, Biden is the best example his war on energy drove up the price of everything.

Just once I’d like to hear a republican answer a question without saying Joe Biden or the democrats. We are more than a year in to YOUR administration - it’s time you owned it.

Trump is far from perfect but I do trust his love for America and his desire to make it safer for the future. Sacrificing for today for a greater future.

Not a SINGLE SpaceX mission has ever garnered the kind of press & goodwill of Artemis II. And that's for good reason: humanity can never truly rally behind a corporation. NASA is for the people and by the people. SpaceX is for the shareholders.

Trump saying that Iran has “no cards” is laughable - the world is hurting from their control of the Strait of Hormuz. Seems like a pretty powerful card! Inflation is up and fuel is up over 40% in just a month. Our negotiating team is anchored by real estate developers, one of whom didn’t understand what Iran was even offering to begin with. And Iran and Russia have been getting the sanctions relief they wanted. Can’t argue this is all going to plan.

REMINDER: The Strait of Hormuz was fully open under President Biden, and he didn't have to post apocalyptic threats to wipe out an entire civilization like a psycho. He is not implicated at all in the Epstein files. BONUS: His wife, Dr. Jill Biden, never had to deny having any relationship with Epstein, and wasn't emailing Ghislaine Maxwell.

@davidaxelrod When it is over we will know why. I believe that Iran will be neutered and never be a threat again. The Middle East and the world are tired of their continued terrorism. God forbid if they did obtain an nuke. Putin has been protected by his nuke arsenal.

Today, the Iranian regime is still in place. They still have thousands of missiles and retain their highly enriched uranium and now they're negotiating for a firm grip on the Strait of Hormuz in perpetuity to end the war. Meanwhile, we've lost 14 U.S. servicemen and women and hundreds more have been wounded; spent tens of billions of dollars; and badly depleted our supplies battering Iran. At the same time, inflation is raging again and gas is at $4.15 a gallon and rising--$1.20 more than the day before we decided to launch a war against Iran. Remind me again why this was a good idea?

You’re admitting though that Trump’s public policy is disastrous. He said their nuclear capabilities were obliterated yet they weren’t. He declared that the conclusion to this war would be nothing short of unconditional surrender, yet it hasn’t been, and Iran continues to take more and more with no pushback from the Trump administration. At some point the only conclusion can be that Trump is unable to consistently report accurate information, and that his objectives are simply meaningless, and if that’s the case, it seems absurd to assume that Iran doesn’t have nuclear capabilities now. In fact, Trump has mentioned that they are still able to enrich uranium. So how exactly have we made any progress with this war? How exactly has this improved upon Obama’s Iran Nuclear Deal?

@edresq92 @atrupar You can quibble over when imminent was going to be but as we have found they have lied about long range missile capabilities and they enriched uranium to have a nuke. Once they had one it would be too late.

@LarryOstarly @atrupar Was Trump "wrong" or did he "lie"? Big difference. If he lied (or even if he was wrong) then, why do we believe him now (or think he is "right") when he says they were imminently going to have and use a nuke? That does not seem credible, regardless.

@Acyn I guess Buttigieg is all in for the continuing war. He will be devastated when it all ends quickly and the price of gas goes back down to $2.50.

Buttigieg: If you want a house, your mortgage went up because interest rates went up, because of this war. Your tank of gas got more expensive. The price of food this summer will be more expensive because fertilizer is more expensive because of this war. They are asking for an extra half trillion dollars for the defense budget. That is thousands of dollars from every household in this country. So we are paying directly for this. And what do we get in return? Is the world any safer? No

Iraq is a better place today than when under Sadam Hussiens dictatorship. Millions of internally displaced people have returned home. The UN described Iraq in early 2026 as “at peace” with “increased security” and a focus on development. Sounds like progress to me. Now Iran.

@jowole1216 @atrupar You are looking for failure. The site where they were enriching uranium was obliterated, unfortunately, they already had enough that was enriched to go nuclear. Ignoring it and trusting that they would not build a bomb would be at the world's peril.
