I thank him three times. We bow at each other through the phone. I hang up. Stock is unchanged. Has been unchanged. The cash pile grew another ¥2 billion last quarter. Tanaka-san is reviewing.

This doesn’t make sense. Any serious businesses that a PE is thinking of buying won’t be disrupted by Claude in the next five years. Any sophisticated investor would see that in an instant. Distribution of a product perfected over decades and client relationships that are the result of years of trust will not be disrupted by some 23 year old analyst vibe coding before an IC meeting.
