@BobbyRayJr @Texans_Thoughts You can’t develop effort and motor. It’s either you got it or you don’t. Guys like Lee Hunter, Kaden McDonald, Gracen Halton, Zane Durant, and Chris Miller play to the whistle. They all have their flaws when it comes to technique and areas they need to work at and “develop”

@TexansCommenter @TexansJacob I believe D hop can operate out of the slot if need be. But I don’t really want any more old guys period. Why have all this young talent and not play them? Nico can play slot or Higgins can play slot. I’d rather see that than get an old guy line up there.

It’s important to remember when we discuss possible WR additions/moves that the GM said at the end of the season to “expect more J Noel next season”. Noel was obviously limited as a rookie offensively but has a very high ceiling as a field stretcher and natural separator HOU lacks. I don’t think Caserio & co. would acquire somebody who would take more snaps from Noel.

@Texans_Thoughts The film shows he takes plays off. He will be really dominate, but he doesn’t sustain it. He needs more consistent effort snap to snap. There were reports that he was doing this as well at the senior bowl!

@TexansCommenter @TexansJacob The guys that make the most sense is Diggs and D hop due to scheme familiarity. Diggs ran the scheme with the Pats, and D Hop was effective with it here with Bill O’Brien.

I don’t get your argument against Allen. Assuming he wants to go to La and then assuming they don’t want him to come back. I’m solely evaluating the player and the fit. He was still very productive all year despite his overrated qb 😅. He isn’t a yards guy. He’s receptions and chains mover. I also don’t understand the Diggs isn’t a willing blocker. He certainly was in HOU and is much more willing and better than Kirk

- Roush I don’t think they draft TE with how deep the room is. I think they should move Cade to FB and have a competition for TE 2 Roush is a great blocker but can also run routes. He was underutilized at Stanford due to horrible QB play. He can be your TE of the future!
