So this is the @metpoliceuk handled Iranians protesting against the Iranian regime in London. Coincidentally we never see them bring riot gear, shields and batons to the weekly pro-Palestine marches. Another compromised police for operating on two-tier policing.

Is this really behaviour becoming of an officer? Obviously we don't know what the gentleman with the bloody nose had done. But for the police officer to cover his face and then start screaming abuse at the person filming the arrest - it is not a great look. Perhaps the @metpoliceuk might issue a statement clarifying.

Thank you everyone that has sent kind messages & congratulations on the HoL appointment. I will try so hard not to let anyone down. My mum worked till 70 as a civil servant before dying prematurely from hep c given to her by the nhs in the contaminated blood scandal, still not properly addressed. My dad is still coaching kids, 90 in January. I raced young East Germans filled full of synthetic testosterone that was allowed to carry on for 20 years unchecked by the ioc. Cheating a generation of young women out of their just rewards. And resulting in those GDR girls being either seriously ill or dying as a consequence. I fight for women’s rights & safeguarding. I want all kids to do more sport. Get off their phones & learn skills like resilience, focus & team work for both their physical & mental health, something that’s in crisis presently. I believe in respectful debate, facts, statistics & science over ideology & social contagion. Truth has always been important to me even though speaking it has come with real ramifications in recent years. I’m grateful to @KemiBadenoch who always listened to me, even years ago & tries very hard to get things done.

Rachel sold us a crisis that didn’t exist. She needed political cover for a tax-and-spend agenda she’d already decided on. She shifted the burden for her political choices onto taxpayers and called it necessity. Starmer has backed her every step of the way. Instead of correcting the record, he doubled down, praising the Budget and telling the public it was responsible and unavoidable. He didn’t challenge her claims about the deficit, even after the surplus figure surfaced. That tells you everything: this wasn’t a mistake, it was a political strategy. We are being conned. Their survival has become our financial punishment.

The Government's Northern Ireland Troubles Bill does nothing to stop veterans being hounded in their retirement. It is a terrible Bill that only serves to help the IRA and their sympathisers in their attempts to rewrite history.

This afternoon I spoke in the Second Reading of the Northern Ireland Troubles Bill. This subject has been close to my heart since I entered Parliament. I believe profoundly that our country must protect our servicemen and women. As a group of Generals warned recently, soldiers could be expected to face not only the enemy before them but the lawyer behind them. This is a disgrace and must never be allowed to happen.
