@Memento_Gallery The only thing I’m conflicted about is 1 hit kill assassinations. I mean you should definitely die from a knife in a vital position, but it makes it much easier to defeat harder enemies??

My opinion on this is the same I have on AC3’s combat or Odyssey’s. Hitting your enemy like that without being able to kill them with one or two hits is just theatrics and also kind of stupid for a character trained to assassinate. Combat in AC shouldn’t be time consuming 💁🏻‍♂️

@mrpyo1 Some older games managed to do so much without RT. Batman Arkham knight? AC unity? The lights and overall scenery in those games hold up to this day.

Hot take but ray tracing is one of the most unnecessary things implemented to games. It destroys FPS and gives nothing to add to the story or gameplay IMO

@videotech I remember I finished TLOU2 and ghost of Tsushima and immediately jumped into ac shadows and my god the difference was huge. I don’t get why the cinematics in AC shadows look cheap? The game gets simply outclassed when compared to other AAA titles.

Ubisoft needs to come back to proper mo-cap scenes again in Assassin’s Creed. This was a 2014 game and looks miles better than every Shadows scene 😭

@xMBGx Console, never been a fan of gaming on windows. I know for sure I could throw my ps5 pro in my carryon case without the fear of it breaking apart or some screws getting loose. I wanted the steam gaming library, so I bought a steam handheld. Problem fixed.

Do you prefer to play on console or PC? What is your reason?

@videotech The ONLY thing I want PSSR 2 to successfully do, is to run RDR2 at 60fps. That’s IT. That game launched on the ps4, ps4 pro, ps5, and ps5 pro and still no 60fps patch/update/boost.

Are you planning to buy/upgrade to the PS5 Pro now that: • Sony plans to keep their first party titles exclusive permanently • PSSR 2.0 is soon to be out and RE9 shows a positive outlook • More games are offering 60fps modes with ray-tracing • GTAVI likely has a good chance being the best looking version day one • PS6 is seemingly delayed until 2028

When I saw that Assassin's Creed Unity was getting a 60 FPS update for current gen consoles, I honestly could not wait to see it with my own eyes. And after playing it, I realized it is not just 60 FPS. The game also seems to be upscaled to 4K, which is absolutely insane in my opinion and the game runs incredibly smooth! Many of you know that I have never been the biggest fan of Unity. But I have to admit, maybe it is just placebo, yet it genuinely feels like the game plays better. Almost like the controller responds more precisely to what I actually want to do. I tested it properly in stealth and of course in parkour, and I have to say, it feels amazing! For PC players this might not be anything special. But for someone like me, mainly playing on console, finally being able to experience Assassin’s Creed Unity at 60 FPS is a game changer. And by the way, co op also seems to be working normally again. This is honestly crazy to see!

@NikTek I just came back from playing tlou2 and ghost of Tsushima and jumped right into ac shadows. Man these scenes were terribly disappointing. For some reason they’re 30fps, and lack basic emotion. Couldn’t play shadows for a while.

Assassins Creed: Black Flag Resynced will be a huge let down for me if Ubisoft did not take any steps to improve these facial animations. I really hope that they are using motion-captured cutscenes this time around.

Was going for a Micro-ATX build with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d, RX 9070XT GPU, 32gb DDR5 RAM. Price for this build with appropriate parts is 2000-2500$ which is nuts. My goal is to run games at 4k120fps but man I’m not sure it’s worth the money.

Just realized that building a pc that outperforms the ps5 pro costs at least 2,000$. The ps5 pro costs 700$ retail, 600$ or less in some stores. The ps5 pro is a good deal for its price.
