Ketanji Brown Jackson's argument justifying birthright citizenship: "If I steal someone's wallet in Japan, the Japanese authorities can arrest me and prosecute me... I'm still locally owing allegiance in that sense." Umm... WHAT?!

In 1977, the White House told Congress that the U.S. would run out of natural gas by the early 21st century. In reality? Our natural gas production soared. Why are we so bad at forecasting the future of energy? Our new video tells the story.

@drewmiller @aakashgupta Yes, but generally not using both parallel runways for landing at the same time. IAH uses the parallel 15’s primarily for takeoff and staggers those. ATL has planes landing on one runway while using the parallel for takeoffs.

@aakashgupta 3,000 to 4,000 feet on most parallels is an exaggeration. IAH and ATL are at 1,000. ORD, PHL and BOS are around 1,500 just to name a few.

United just bet $2.6 billion on an airport the FAA permanently capped this morning. United committed $2.6 billion to expand SFO, grew capacity 20% year over year, hired 2,800 new employees, and added routes to Adelaide, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Manila. 300 daily flights this summer. The entire strategy is premised on SFO scaling with them. The FAA just killed that premise. 54 arrivals per hour down to 36. A 33% capacity reduction with no end date. The construction project runs through October, but the parallel landing ban stays after the concrete dries. The physics: SFO's two main landing runways sit 750 feet apart. Most airports with parallel operations have 3,000 to 4,400 feet of separation. SFO was the exception because pilots could fly visual approaches in clear weather, essentially eyeballing the other plane and maintaining separation themselves. The DCA midair collision, the San Antonio near miss, the John Wayne helicopter incident. The FAA looked at the accident chain and decided 750 feet of human judgment wasn't worth the throughput. SFO already had 69% on-time arrivals before this change. One in four arriving flights will now be delayed 30 minutes or more. During fog season, when visual approaches were already banned and staggered landings were already the rule, the effective capacity could drop further. United can add all the routes it wants. The airport can only land 36 planes an hour. You can't repave your way out of a runway that was built 750 feet from its twin in 1960.

FAA banned parallel landings permanently, will be bad for SFO (max landings drop from 54>36/hr) Given the topography of SFO, we have 2 parallel runways 750’ apart. There was an accident at DCA last year, now the FAA is mandating staggered approaches :(

No medical school in the world is teaching this. So no matter how many degrees they have or how smart they think they are, every doctor in the conventional system starts from the same false premise: that you are a bag of illness, that your life is always at risk, and that they are the ones keeping you alive. That is not the truth about the human body. God has been choreographing a delicate dance since the dawn of man. There are millions of bacteria and viruses on your hands right now as you sit there. Millions. And in all of human history, not one of them has risen up and wiped us out. Not one. Because the body knows what it is doing. And yet somehow we decided we were smart enough to eliminate 17 of those viruses from existence, and while we were at it we would inject aluminum, mercury, polysorbate 80, fatty lipids, mRNA, and God knows what else directly into the bloodstreams of our children. And we would wear masks. And we would do all of this on the advice of the most educated people in the room. Who told you that you needed any of this? The same people who never once stopped to ask whether the most sophisticated biological system ever created might already know something they don't.

Since the start they've known vaccines cause severe neurological injuries. Here I reveal the buried research showing: •Why vaccines routinely cause microclotting •How to spot the microstrokes •Why these clots underlie many "incurable" chronic illnesses midwesterndoctor.com/p/what-vaccine…

@LauraAE4HF @SeanODo23574349 @BuzzPatterson The most sensible way to gain valuable experience in any profession is for the less experienced to be paired with the more experienced. The more years experience, the more knowledge of how to navigate situations out of the norm.

@LauraAE4HF @gd83680 @BuzzPatterson My guess is the age limit was set after WW2. If you don’t have a steady supply out of the military anymore, you should have older pilots flying with younger pilots. Flying is something it takes years to be good at unless your last name is Yeager.

@SeanODo23574349 @LauraAE4HF @BuzzPatterson 65 is an arbitrary number, especially considering the intensity of airline refresher training. If you can pass the medical and the recurrent, why do you have to leave because of an arbitrary age? Is there data saying post 65 pilots have a higher rate of incidents?

@LauraAE4HF @BuzzPatterson True (read your backstory previously). I like seeing someone in my flight crew with some gray hair. In 22+ years of being a professional passenger, I respect the senior folks in the ready room. My consultation has kept me out of two mishaps (judged to be pilot error).

@SeanODo23574349 @BuzzPatterson How are they (or any other profession) going to get experience then? You want experienced pilots but Congress mandates airline pilots can’t fly when they turn 65. Hundreds of experienced, healthy pilots shoved aside this year alone, myself included.

Imagine you had to choose your life at age 40: Option A: Single. No kids. $50M net worth. 850 credit score. Private jet. Option B: Married. 2 kids. $3M net worth. Drive a Toyota. 10 BTC in cold storage. 500 credit score. Fly Southwest. Be honest, which life are you choosing?

🚨 Do you understand what SCOTUS is about to decide? in 1857, the Supreme Court ruled that Black Americans... even those born free on American soil.. could never be citizens.. it was called the Dred Scott decision.. one of the most shameful rulings in legal history.. it took a Civil War and 360,000 Union deaths to fix it.. in 1868, Congress passed the 14th Amendment.. "all persons born or naturalized in the United States are citizens".. no exceptions.. no asterisks.. they wrote it that way on purpose.. so no government could ever again decide who counts as American on this soil.. it has stood for 156 years.. Trump signed an executive order trying to end it.. not a constitutional amendment.. not an act of Congress.. an executive order.. and SCOTUS is about to decide if that's allowed.. here's what nobody's saying out loud.. this isn't about immigration.. if a president can override the 14th Amendment with an executive order.. there is no amendment a president cannot override with an executive order.. one executive order just did what the Confederacy couldn't.

Today, for the first time, we got 100% on the record confirmation that Rep. Ilhan Omar committed immigration fraud. Lying on your immigration forms is an immediate denaturalization. Vice President JD Vance says DHS is exploring enforcement. Ilhan needs to be deported.

A fact that still blows my mind: This Boeing 777 spends about 20 hours a day in the air. And only about 4 hours on the ground each day. ~80% of its life is spent above 30k feet.
