@WeirdMedieval I used to live upstairs from a woman who had been working as a seamstress from her flat for 40 years. There were little pathways between 4 foot high piles of fabric for her to get around. She squashed the moth larvae on her ceiling with a broom handle and left them there 😭

I’ve been trying to get my 85-year-old mum signed on her GP’s app on her old phone for the last two hours with no luck. Keeps demanding two factor authentication apps which my mum won’t understand or to create a digital ID or passcode. This is digital exclusion.

I once dated a man who I later discovered was 'polyamorous'* and I ran a million miles because I had the prescience and self-respect (thanks mum and dad) to never want to be in a relationship this fucking miserable. * If you were on any dating site, but perhaps especially OKCupid in the late 2010s, you couldn't throw a stone without hitting a polyamorist. I've lost count of the number of deeply boring men who sent me articles about 'compersion' as though that would convince me I really wanted to be in a relationship with them and - by extension - any number of dysfunctional nutters they happened to alight upon.
