A new west-to-east pipeline route was unveiled today by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Ontario Premier Doug Ford at a press conference in Calgary. The proposed Northern Shield Energy Corridor would stretch 3,300 kilometres from Hardisty, Alberta to Sarnia, Ontario, passing near Regina and Winnipeg without crossing the U.S. border. The line would move 500,000 barrels of crude oil per day, with the potential to expand to 800,000 barrels.

Yesterday we spent a few hours with 2 members of the @EdmontonOilers and both of them said “Our organization can’t talk about how important Mental Health is to them anymore with the hiring of Mike Babcock, it will be on us as players to do more at the rink and away from the rink…we hired a bully as our Head Coach” not every player on the Oilers roster supports this hire. They did add that DJ Smith is a great hire and they heard great things about him from old teammates who had Smith as their coach before and they hope DJ can be a positive light and help Mike be a better human being. #LetsGoOilers #NHL
