I can't stand that airport corruption is so bad that we're getting PSAs like "make sure to record your bag being weighed." The third-worldification continues. I hope more robots take airport jobs because they'd be more trustworthy than the current wave of hires, apparently.

@FreeNortherner I do almost all my shopping at Loblaws even though there is a Food Basics within walking distance. Occasionally I’ll go there if it’s just a few things and I’m always struck by the price difference.

Complaining about the cost for groceries is one thing, it sucks. But I have zero sympathy for people who only buy the most expensive products possible, then complain their bill is too high. You could probably half the bill by just buying non-premium food.

@CollapseAnime My parents bought our home for $60k in 1975. According to the inflation calculator it should be worth about $375k. It was sold in 2022 for $600k.

I rarely eat out or order food but that doesn't change the fact that my old family home should be 224,000$ adjusted for inflation but it's 600,000$ No cheap amount of lunches will fix the fact your need upper middle class combined income to live in a formally working class area

My very rural village had arrive in it today 12 African "refugees," all 12 are young men. An old bunk house from a long closed fish plant is housing them. The small motel has been contracted out to feed them 3 warm meals a day. White Genocide right on top of my family. 😡😡

The Toronto police worry about Moslems in foreign countries. Meanwhile, Canadian churches burn, and no one ever seems to get arrested. We need a total transformation of police forces in Canada. They more and more do not serve the interests of Canadians.
Toronto Police@TorontoPolice

We are closely monitoring reports of an attack at a mosque in San Diego. There is no known nexus to Toronto, but out of an abundance of caution, we will continue visible patrols across the city. We recognize incidents like this can cause fear and concern in communities, and we remain in close contact with our partners.

“Can’t breath” - Police body cam footage shown in court revealed the moment officers arrested 18-year-old Henry Nowak shortly before his death. Southampton Crown Court heard officers found Mr Nowak leaning against a house wall in Belmont Road, supported by the defendant’s father. The defendant's father said: “He keeps dropping down, so I am just trying to keep him up.” Mr Nowak can be heard saying “can’t breathe.” Police put handcuffs on Mr Nowak, who was lying on his side, telling officers he had been stabbed and that he could not breathe. The officer told Mr Nowak that he was under arrest for suspicion of assault. Mr Nowak repeated that he had been stabbed. A male voice said: “I don’t think you have, mate.” The video cuts out when CPR starts, and in its place, a transcript was read by Neil King, prosecuting, and the officer in the case. One officer said: "He is not unconscious, mate, he isn't breathing." Mr Nowak was pronounced dead at 12.37am despite the efforts of police, paramedics and a doctor who was flown to the scene by helicopter. The video ended when CPR began, with a transcript read to the court instead. Mr Nowak was later pronounced dead at 12:37am despite efforts from police, paramedics and an airlifted doctor. Vickrum Singh Digwa, 23, of St Denys Road, Southampton denies the charge of murder. Source: Daily Echo

@aroundliv How many coppers does it take? These scroats are being arrested for a reason but surely at least 5 of the officers could be out on the streets preventing other crimes. And that woman shouting needs arresting for being so annoying 🤣

@MichelleRempel @TorontoPearson Seeing as how the government just loves hiring foreigners, I would bet a large chunk of cash that all the thefts of newly purchased cars - some only hours before - was due to MOT workers feeding info to their criminal friends and family.
