EXTRAORDINARY! Cyclethon 4 is in the books with over a MILLION DOLLARS raised for the Immune Deficiency Foundation! Handshakes and high-fives to everyone who donated, watched, encouraged, and believed in this event. This is, without a doubt, the single most important project I have the luxury of joining — and this year blew away all my expectations. On a personal note, this was the most emotional trip I’ve ever been on. The absolute joy of raising awareness and money for charity juxtaposed with having the tragic news of my beloved cats heart condition and diagnosis was a lot to juggle mentally. That being said, no matter how down I was personally, the boys, mouse, chat, and being locked in on this was the best distraction a guy could ask for. Thank you all again SO MUCH for the kind words and generosity you have shown the last two weeks. Everyone crushed it, we all loved it, let’s bounce on it ❤️

@aevanko I know Wilds is not even out yet and I am already looking forward to master rank monsters!

One thing I enjoy is when they take monsters that were previously lower ranked and then introduce them as a more mid to endgame monster. Can’t wait to see what they do in Wilds. We need a late mid game Great Jaggi like MHST did!

@aevanko I'm soo looking forward Wilds, but I decided to skip the Betas so I can get into it fully blind.. I only did the first hunt to get the bonuses.. I also replayed most of World and I restarted Rise waiting for the end of the month

While not fair to bow since it's not adjusted yet in the Beta, I am really digging SNS/DB as a pair to bring into battle. More agressive use of shield/guarding with SNS and evasion play with DB. So good!

@Nobbel87 Absolutely.. also for people that may want to experience the dungeon but they are not sure they can commit to an uninterrupted 30 minutes run..

Follower dungeons, one of those things I didn't know I needed until it was added. SO GOOD! Get the story, explore the dungeon, learn the fights. 10/10 feature

@aevanko Agree. I use to play a lot more but now that I have 1 year old baby, I find it comforting that I can jump in for a patch, do the content and park it until the next patch drop. I started day one of 1.0 and I'm sure I will be there when server close in 10-20 years from now.

I am guessing that the debates about FFXIV is more of a content creator issue. The game hasn’t changed and it’s designed so you don’t have to play it everyday. When your gaming is also your job I think it warps your perspective a tad and how you spend your time.

I released the final update to Apollo for Reddit! 🥹 It tidies up things for the closure later today, adds some really cool easter eggs, and lets you migrate your pixel pals from Apollo to the separate Pixel Pals app, which also unlocks an Apollo Pixel Pal so he can live on ❤️
