Ridglan Farms did not shut down. They are only required to stop breeding to sell by July 1 under their state license. But their federal license still allows them to breed and experiment on Beagles on‑site right now. That means: • They can still keep dogs inside • They can still breed Beagles for their own research • They can still perform invasive experiments • They can still operate as a federally licensed research facility Even after: • Over 300 animal‑cruelty violations • Their lead veterinarian unanimously losing his license • Surrendering their state breeding license to avoid felony charges They are still federally permitted to breed and test on Beagles on‑site. This is the loophole the public never hears about. It’s not over. Not even close.

@CBSNews If they keep 500 dogs, they’re still experimenting on them , yes? They are probably funded by US taxpayers, no? If theyre getting millions in research grants (which I’d like to Know) then they will just buy more research dogs 😩

After animal activists broke into Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin back in March to rescue several beagles being used for scientific testing — and months of protests — the facility recently agreed to sell 1,500 of their 2,000 dogs to organizations, like Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Now, dozens of the animals are being taken to properties like this one in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin to get checked out by veterinarians before being transferred to rescue shelters and centers that will help them find their forever homes.

@CBSNews There are 500 dogs still left. Leaving them any dogs is a crime. ALL DOGS NEED TO BE RESCUED and that place shut down. How can choose to leave 500 and think it’s a win?

@WhiteCoatWaste, a group that courts conservatives who oppose the use of animals in research, has repeatedly informed the NIH that beagles from Ridglan Farms continue to be used in “maximum pain” experiments. These include an NIH-funded University of Missouri study in which dogs’ fur is shaved and containers of diseased ticks are applied to their bare skin in order to infect them with deadly illnesses. That study, the group says, recently received$1.2 million in additional NIH funding, allowing the experiments to continue through 2029 In response to queries from animal rights advocates, @NIH Deputy Director Nicole Kleinstreuer has defended such expenditures, saying there are “areas where research using canine models continues to be necessary.””

Negotiations are continuing we hear, but it’s not secret that roughly 500 beagles remain. They have a breeding license to sale 1,500 beagles to labs and Universities. Ty have a federal license to breed and perform research on around 250. I’m not trying to be a Debbie downer, only maintaining the transparency these Beagles deserve. For 60 years they have been allowed to stay out of the public eye. dogexpress.in/1500-beagles-s… awionline.org/awi-quarterly/…

@LeanneGreer17 We knew the truth nearly 60 years ago. We sent money in for rescuing smoking beagles when I was in primary school. Can’t believe nothing was done.

I will never stop! Or exposing the despicable Universities in my state, NC! All have years of documented violations and failed investigations and STILL @NIH @RobertKennedyJc @elonmuskzg1 give the MILLIONS of our tax dollars to perform unscientific experiments on innocent animals! Guess what? Most of our universities don’t buy beagles, they breed hundreds to have bleeding disorders where most die while still alive being experimented on. No anesthesia. Only paralyzing chemicals before tormenting them. The Beagles are born at @UNCchapelkill The new animal protection laws, like Violets Law- approved yesterday…..EXCUSES UNIVERSITIES! The animals don’t get the right to retire into loving homes after experiments!!! Also! All universities are told that they have to consider alternative methods that are PROVEN SCIENTIFICALLY MORE EFFICIENT than the outdated animal experiments!!! HOWEVER, all they have to do is check a box that says they considered it!! So, they are legally allowed to continue methods that science doesn’t recommend!! Animal Testing is a money game Sorry for my rant!

EXPOSED: RFK Jr.’s NIH is still funding tests on beagles from the notorious Ridglan Farms puppy mill. Some of these puppies are being abused in “maximum pain” experiments. And after we exposed it, senior NIH officials tried to pressure us into silence. We have the receipts: Four NIH grants are still funding a University of Missouri lab that buys hundreds of beagle puppies from Ridglan. This lab shaves off their fur, glues capsules full of mutant ticks to their skin, and allows the ticks to bite them and infect them with deadly diseases. In many cases, this NIH-funded lab denies any pain relief to the beagles. And RFK Jr.’s NIH extended these experiments, handing the lab another $1.2 million in taxpayer funding. RFK Jr.’s NIH also approved $1.1 million in new funding to another University of Missouri dog lab that buys beagles from Ridglan and breeds them for cruel muscular dystrophy experiments. And NIH approved a new $2 million grant to a pharmaceutical lab on Kennedy’s watch to abuse 57 Ridglan beagles in experimental drug tests. In response to our investigations, senior officials under RFK Jr. have pressured our board members to shut down our criticism of the NIH, in apparent violation of federal ethics rules. They’ve also tried to censor and blacklist us. But the criticism is only getting louder—and it’s coming from across the political spectrum. Trump loyalist Laura Loomer and progressive Democrat Rep. Mark Pocan have both sounded the alarm about NIH funding for abusive testing on Ridglan puppies. This issue is not going away anytime soon, and neither are we. @LauraLoomer @RepMarkPocan
