In 2018 I was in Bon Marché in Paris and bought one (1) sweatshirt in an amazing silvery bronze. I wore it once, to a concert at the Salle Pleyel, packed it up in my suitcases, and have not been able to find that sweatshirt since. Today, I found it.

Do you know that ICE agents aren’t robots? They are HUMANS. Humans who are men and women doing a job that can be a very scary job. A job that has and always will be necessary. When they are put in a terribly scary position and they are already on edge TERRIBLE things happen that didn’t need to. NO ONE should be happy when terrible things happen. It’s sad. Life doesn’t happen in a slow motion video frame by frame to judge what SHOULD have happened. It happens quick. Kick the bees nest and the bees come. I’m greatly sad about all of this.

Correct. You can accept that this woman's death is a tragedy while acknowledging it's a tragedy of her own making. Don't illegally interfere in federal law enforcement operations and try to run over our officers with your car. It's really that simple.

Always perilous judging by video clips, but this looks like a lawful shooting that isn’t prosecutable. The officer will have a good case he was in fear of his life, even if in retrospect it looks like he could have gotten out of the way It doesn’t look to me like she was *deliberately* trying to run him over, but she defied officer orders and accelerated at an officer This is a tragedy and she created the predicate for it. DON’T CHASE AND OBSTRUCT LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, DON’T DEFY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, DON’T FLEE THE SCENE OR ACT RECKLESSLY AFTER OFFICERS HAVE ORDERED YOU TO DO SOMETHING. These are very good rules for avoiding these fraught, dangerous circumstances in the first place

Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking  ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots.  He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers.  The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries.   This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement. These men and women who are simply enforcing the law on the books are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats.  This is an evolving situation, and we will give the public more information as soon as it becomes available.

And this is the idiotic thing about the "debate" model that Weiss is advancing: on some things, there is no debate; it's a settled question of either fact, or in this case, law. It's a disservice to rational discourse to pretend that there is some kind of open question.

BREAKING NEWS: Citibike's latest monthly operating report for November 2025 reveals that bikes within the Citbike network, a "bike sharing" system, sat unused 97.31% of the time, confirming that this a publicly-subsidized bike warehousing program where capacity is not being managed properly. Yet, the taxpayer-funded radical anti-freedom groups are demanding even more taxpayer-funded subsidies for a system that sits unused 97% of the time.
