Morning all, I’m on the train to Royal Birkdale right now – the plan is to follow Viktor’s group in the morning and Rory’s in the afternoon! I’ll post vids/pics of Viktor as and when I can because he’s not featured, however there are a couple of stretches on the course where there is no network so you’ll get them when you get them!

@mgwp1 In 2017 the rough hadn't grown. Afterwards they invested 750,000 in new irrigation to water it. I'm surprised they haven't turned on the taps.

Royal Birkdale is very firm and fast , lots of irons off tees I predict. Greens very firm indeed , rough not as juicy as they would like due to lack of rain . Course looks magnificent , some of the changes are 🤔but the great lady is looking smashing
