Police have reacted to the political violence and brutality meted out on National Constitutional Assembly leader Lovemore Madhuku and others by criminals, calling it an "alleged attack" and claiming the meeting was unsanctioned. Instead of saying they are now investigating the issue to arrest the thugs, police nonchalantly said they are "keen to know what actually transpired on the alleged attack" on Madhuku and his team.

THE AGENDA 2026 STATEMENT AGENDA 2026- A FRESH START Fellow citizens, 1. Our nation faces a pivotal moment and stands at a critical juncture. The promise of independence has not yet translated into rapid accelerated transformation, shared prosperity, dignity, and opportunity for all. Today, Zimbabwe is gripped by disputed national processes, deepening economic hardship, political uncertainty, social collapse and moral decay. Government services and support to citizens is upon partisan considerations.

BREAKING 🚨 🚨 During a rôbbery in Zimbabwe, the thiêf shouted to everyone in the bank: “Don’t move! The môney belongs to the State — your lives belong to you.” Everyone in the bank lay down quietly. This is called “Changing the way of thinking” — shifting the traditional mindset. When a woman lay provocatively on a table, the thief shouted: “Please be civilized! This is a robbery, not a råpe!” This is called “Being Professional.” Focus only on what you are trained to do! When the robbers returned home, the younger thiêf (who had an MBA) said to the older thiêf (who had only finished sixth grade): “Big brother, let’s count how much we got.” The older thiêf replied: “You’re so stupid! There’s too much money — it’ll take forever to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we stole.” This is called “Experience.” Nowadays, experience is more valuable than academic qualifications! After the rôbber's left, the bank manager told the supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said: “Wait! Let’s take $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million we’ve already embezzled.” This is called “Going with the flow.” Turning a disadvantageous situation into an advantage! The supervisor then said: “It would be great if there was a rôbbery every month.” This is called “Killîng boredöm.” Personal happiness is more important than work. The next day, the news reported that $100 million had been stolen from the bank. The rôbber's counted and counted but only found $20 million. Furious, they complained: “We risked our lives and only got $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million in an instant! Looks like it’s better to be educated than to be a thièf.” This is called “Knowledge is as valuable as gold.” Meanwhile, the bank manager smiled, relieved that his stock market losses were now covered by the robbery. The panel chairman opened the meeting and said: “We are here to uncover the truth, no matter whose ox is gored.” Then he quietly added: “But first, let’s agree on our sitting allowances.” This is called “Setting priorities.” Principles can wait, allowances cannot. During the investigation, the bank manager submitted a 500-page report filled with grammar, graphs, and big English. Nobody read it. This is called “Intellectual intimidation.” If they don’t understand it, they won’t question it. One junior officer courageously asked: “Sir, how did $100 million disappear, but only $20 million was recovered?” The room went silent. The chairman cleared his throat and said: “Young man, are you here to work or to destroy your future?” This is called “Career guidance.” 😭 Meanwhile, the robbers were arrested after spending their $20 million carelessly. When asked why they didn’t hide the money, the older thief replied: “We thought the system would protect us like it protects others.” This is called “Wrong assumptions.” Not everyone enjoys institutional immunity. In court, the robbers were sentenced swiftly. The bank manager was asked to “step aside pending investigation.” This is called “Selective justice.” One goes to prison, another goes on leave. Later that evening, the same bank manager was spotted at a luxury hotel, smiling. He raised a glass and said: “To crisis management.” This is called “Risk management.” 📈 And the public? They argued online, dragged each other, shared memes, then moved on to the next trending topic. This is called “National attention span.” So again… Who are the real thieves? 🤔
