Most people assume that financial wealth creates happiness. I used to see people with money and assume everything in their life must be amazing. I was wrong. Money is scientifically correlated with happiness—but only up to a baseline level of life that's lower than you think.

This isn’t to say that there aren’t exceptions, but in my experience, “unlimited” does two things: 1) Companies able to avoid accruing for unpaid vacation days. 2) Employees feel unnecessary guilt/worry about taking days since there is no fixed number allowed.

“Unlimited vacation days” is just “no vacation days” in hilarious disguise.
