I was curious so I went to watch the interview. The minister explained that they are matching the biometric data collected during the previous SIM registration exercise with the NIA database. They have done 80% of it. According to him, most Ghanaians will not need to queue again since they will simply be notified once their data matches the NIA. Only those whose information does not match will be asked to book appointments with their telcos to submit their biometric data again. I think that’s a fair approach.
