@LordIntellectX People can choose who to work with. People can post about their experiences with someone doing business, even if refused service. People can make memes about things people post online. Anyone on this chain is only a dick if their goal is to get rid of the first point.

I'm going to piss off both sides and make people tell on themselves. The fact is, private businesses, including individuals, have every right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, including political beliefs. But, just as no one can exert control over you, you cannot exert control over them. You have no more right to dictate to anyone who else they work with or what technologies they work with, as they do to force you to work with them. Don't want to work with someone because of your personal beliefs? That is your right as a private individual. To then go on and make drama call out posts about the people you refused getting their needs fulfilled elsewhere, however, outs you as a moron. By all means, stand on your principles. I can respect that, even if I disagree with said principles. What I can't stand is hypocrisy and logical inconsistency. Thank you to @KitsuraNines for the meme.

imagine hiring a plumber and they go, “sorry, i looked at your twitter and you have opinions i don’t like, so i won’t fix your sink.” that’s basically how ridiculous this art discourse sounds. you’re selling a service, not conducting an ideological purity test.

The scrub daddy, scrub mommy like of products are just another subtle way the patriarchy shoves sexist behavioral standards down women's throats every single day. For those who aren't aware, "scrub mommy" includes a 'softer side' which is noticeably absent from "scrub daddy." This sends a clear message that women are expected to be soft and demure while men are free to remain harsh and avoidant. To market products that are used for women's work in such a sexist manner is insidious and destructive messaging to women and girls.

Exhibit A in “How to ruin your own life before 25”: Almost-25-year-old rolls into a tattoo shop to cover up her latest regrettable elbow decision… and the artist simply notices reality: rainbow hair, face tattoos that look like they lost a bet with a Sharpie, lip piercings straight out of a “hire me never” starter pack, neck barbed wire (peak approachable energy), spiderweb for extra edge, and hands covered in enough random symbols to qualify as a walking “do not hire” sign. Artist: “How old are you?” “Almost 25.” Artist: “That’s a lot going on with your face for somebody who’s not even 25 yet.” Our protagonist’s brilliant defense? “I only have two face tattoos” while frantically pointing at their forehead, eye drips, neck, and hands like they’re counting participation trophies. Then they hit 13. Because apparently everything from the neck up (and the hands) doesn’t count if you squint hard enough and lie to yourself. Nothing says “I make excellent long-term decisions” like turning your face and hands into a permanent billboard for “I peaked during my edgy phase and now I’m surprised the world treats me accordingly.” The artist didn’t “judge.” They observed the obvious consequences of a string of poor choices and had the audacity to say it out loud. This is NOT peak self-expression and empowerment. It’s a masterclass in making every future job interview, relationship, and opportunity harder than it needed to be.

@TampaPD Why would you call the police instead of instantly calling someone with locksmith capabilities? Most tow trucks in my city unlock cars and you can find one that gets there fast usually. It seems like calling 911 adds an unnecessary step.

Accidents happen, and they can happen in a matter of seconds. Recently, our officers responded after a mom accidentally locked her keys inside her vehicle with her child still inside. She called 911 right away, stayed with her child, and officers safely reunited them within minutes. If this ever happens to you: - Call 911 immediately. - Stay with your child. - Create shade if possible and watch for signs of heat-related illness. A quick call and a calm response can make all the difference

Everyone here is wrong: 1. The kid in orange initiated it. 2. The kid in blue was right to be mad but wrong to sucker punch the other kid. You can confront him, even with violent intent, but a sucker punch is dishonorable in such a situation. 3. The kid in orange was foolish and arrogant to think that he could disrespect his opponent and not suffer for it. He not only lifted himself off the kid's face but then he turned his back to him, effectively announcing that there would be no consequences. Such a posture demands correction, and it came. That doesn't mean that the kid in blue shouldn't be punished. He should be. A sucker punch is dangerous. It just means that when he's punished, it should come with the classic "I'm not saying you should have done it, but I understand."

Muslims sources say that Mohammed’s child bride was still playing with dolls when he had sex with her. She was 9. He was about 53. Why does it matter that she was playing with dolls? Because there’s a rule in Islam that once a girl hits puberty she is not allowed to play with dolls as that is seen as idolatrous. So, Mohammed didn’t just have sex with a young bride. He raped a child, a little girl because children cannot consent. Mohammed was a pedophile. Confirmed by Islamic sources.

I don't understand why a State governor will speak with so much audacity. Israel Prime Minister is not a local politician and should not be intimidated by a mere Governor because he stepped into his State. The Federal Government should be the only one with the power to arrest international criminals. Unless US law permits that.

🚨 BREAKING: 🇺🇸 President Donald Trump declared that if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits the United States, no one will be allowed to arrest him. 🇺🇸 U.S. politician Zohran Mamdani responded by saying that if Netanyahu enters an area under his authority, he would order his immediate arrest, arguing that he considers Netanyahu a war criminal. 🇺🇸 Trump fired back, saying that the United States is under the authority of the federal government, and decisions of that nature will not be made by individual politicians. He added that anyone attempting to have Netanyahu arrested would face serious consequences, including possible removal from office.

France has amazing food. But certain aspects of it can be a little surprising to Americans. When I visited France the first time, they took me out for pizza, "Americans like pizza yes?" The pizza had zero tomato sauce nor other toppings. It had a rather pale cheese. I took a bite, and realized. "This is camembert." So I told my hosts, "This is camembert. This pizza has camembert, not mozzarella." My French hosts were SO pleased with themselves for giving me this unusual treat that I didn't have the heart to say yuck. Incidentally I like camembert just fine. But on pizza?! 1/4

Tim Pool reveals The Turtles turned down $150,000 from the Daily Wire just to let them play "Happy Together" one time. $1,500 became $15,000. Then $150,000. The Turtles' answer stayed the same: No, you can't play our song. POOL: "They wanted to play 'Happy Together' at the Ryman Theater in Nashville… they offered a license fee to do it, one-time performance, it was 1500 bucks. And the Turtles said no." "So then Jeremy (CEO) was like, 'What? Why? It's a 60-year-old song. I mean, we just wanna play it one time…' And he says, 'Offer them $15,000.' And they go, 'Are you nuts? That's 10 times the fee.'" "They come back and say the Turtles said no, you can't play their song. And then Jeremy says, 'Okay, offer them $150,000.' And the Daily Wire crew, they were like, 'Are you nuts? That's insane. That, just for one performance?' He goes, 'I have to know.'" "The Turtles said no. They rejected $150,000 for these people just to play the song one time at a theater. That's crazy…"

Flock's office secrecy looks hypocritical at first glance, but the company and its employees have received multiple serious threats, including a recent Texas arrest for severe threats sent directly to staff. I don't think their privacy requests are about hiding from accountability but protecting people whose work puts them in the crosshairs of criminals and violent activists.

It turns out Flock Safety Cameras love and demand privacy, but only for themselves and their employees - Flock business location says you can’t film - Flock moved locations but they instructed the old building to not give out their location to anyone asking - Security guard at Flock building says he doesn’t consent to being filmed and he doesn’t want to be “under surveillance” Here’s where it gets really crazy - The new flock building is identified but they won’t put their name on the building, or on any of the building signs - Security won’t confirm Flock is in the building - No one is allowed to film, no one is even allowed to access any floors in the building Flock demands extremely privacy, but only for themselves Americans must be under surveillance but for them, you can’t even film outside an old building…. Amazing….

🚨 HOLY HELL Minnesota is way DARKER than anyone thought. A Somali refugee just blew the entire welfare racket wide open. He says they TOLD him to refuse assimilation and jump straight onto Section 8 and government benefits. That’s the “system.” “I was told to go find discounted housing, get on Section 8, sign up for community benefits.” And when he suggested actually integrating? His own community ATTACKED him. “The community treated welfare like a way of life. I said we can do better. They said no.” He came here at 29, fully aware of what he escaped in Somalia. And even HE is shocked at the fraud and rot in Minnesota. Massive respect to Abdi Iftin for exposing what Democrats desperately try to hide.

This is a perfect illustration of why we cannot have a meaningful discussion on anything nowadays. I asked a very simple question because I am curious with how some will address it. Most of the replies like this one, are either outright ignoring the question, or saying its somehow "different". For those who are aware of "bake the cake, bigot!" incident in 2012 (pic relevant will give you a general ide), how is it meaningfully different in principle to what Miia has experienced now? Both situations revolve around a business/trader refusing a service to another over political and/or religious grounds. Despite being on principle the same issue, I am seeing a lot of people saying they disapprove of the cakeshop's decision to refuse a custom order, while praising the artist for blanket refusing their own commission over "differences in ideals". For those who want to still say its "different", sure be my guest and find differences that matter... You will find that in the case of the cake house - the baker still offered his services, only that he cannot accept the custom order...meanwhile in the case of the artist - the artist blanket rejected any and all business outright. The artist's on conduct alone is worse than the cake house owner, that is the "difference". The biggest gripe I have with this whole incident with Miia is not specifically Miia or her views whether I support or oppose it, those are the illustrations. My gripe is WHY the double-standard? Lets pretend Miia is not in the equation right now, let it be ANYONE else. In fact, lets not even think about who the artist is and who the commission is coming from. Explain to me, if you are a so-called "principled and moral" individual, what makes one so different from the other that you can have complete opposite reactions to them? Either everyone can reject business for any reason they want, or everyone must accept the business if its not an unlawful request. Which is it?

@GiveMeBanHammer @kukuruyo Miia is OPENLY TRANSPHOBIC. Of course she'd be a target of intense criticism and blacklisting. This is simply an example of reaping what you sow. Maybe Miia should educate herself and reexamine her beliefs before crying about an expected commission rejection on Twitter.
