Swift Playgrounds is practically soft-deprecated at this point. They haven’t bothered to update their SwiftPM fork to support anything beyond the most vanilla packages.

@LiYanan2004 This is exactly why I built MacQuit — it auto-quits apps that have been idle for a configurable time. ChatGPT desktop is one of the worst offenders for background CPU usage. Set it to close after 30min of inactivity and your fans will thank you. awesomemacapp.com
