The necessity of a value chain approach in #airquality monitoring—addressing upstream risk causes, midstream state of air, and downstream solutions is urgently needed. Moreover, the pivotal role of citizen science in complementing open-source air quality data, ensuring a holistic view that matches pollution states to potential solutions and investment enablers is key. The data-action gap urgently needs to be bridged as we turn air pollution costs into investment opportunities, demonstrating the economic benefits of air quality solutions. Let's embrace this call to action with urgency and purpose, inspired by the wisdom that proactive engagement today is key to a healthier tomorrow.
