NEW: Man was gambling on his phone while driving when he crashed into a pregnant woman, causing her to give birth prematurely. 30-year-old Jack Bentley was arrested and thrown in jail following the incident. The woman, two children who were in the car, and their pet dog were all injured in the crash, which happened in Derby, England. The woman suffered a fractured pelvis and had to undergo an emergency Caesarean section. The baby was in intensive care for multiple weeks. "The pregnant woman had to undergo an emergency Caesarean section, leaving her premature baby in intensive care for a number of weeks, when she suffered two collapsed lungs," the BBC reported. The dog also needed emergency surgery.
