@LaurenWitzkeDE @spencerpratt Yeah, that’s slavery, torture, and abuse.
No one should listen to you.

If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.

@TreadAthletics What's a good way to get stronger? 5x5 program? Pullup program?

Before you play summer ball, genuinely weigh the options against your goal.
Putting on 10-12 lbs and adding 15-20% to your lifts may be a better use of those precious months than getting 20 sporadic innings across 2 months of long bus rides.
You can work on executing that 72 mph curveball all summer, but the best thing for that pitch might actually be not being 170 lbs with average strength and numerous mechanical inefficiencies.

@LibertyForever7 @Katy_Faust @xevekiah Then it will force you to use your body for other people. Be ready.

My abortion is the kind people love to judge the most. I wasn’t underage, I wasn’t assaulted, and there was no medical emergency. I got pregnant because I knowingly had unprotected sex, no accident, no rare failure, just my own choices.
By their standards, it was “irresponsible.” I knew abortion was an option, and I took it. Not because I couldn’t survive it or raise a child, I simply didn’t want one. I wanted sex without becoming a parent, and I chose not to carry the pregnancy.
There’s no redemption arc here. I don’t regret it. Nothing terrible happened to me afterward, no punishment, no downfall. My life is still good. And that reality alone challenges everything people like to assume about women who make this choice.

Everyone who supports abortion how would you feel if you were aborted ? Babies Lives Matter
English

@PhilemonaLemon @Katy_Faust @xevekiah It's not your choice. The government can and should regulate your body.
English

@LibertyForever7 @Katy_Faust @xevekiah Sure. I can grow that life into a fully formed baby (or at least try to). And that life will stop if I refuse to gestate it, because my body is needed for their growth and survival. I choose.
English

@theistinthought @HansFiene How else could this be interpreted?
English

@LibertyForever7 @HansFiene This is a YEC kind of interpretation that I reject
English

@MichelleDLesley And your topic search function of your website is a regular reference for us.
English

@MichelleDLesley Absolutely, we in Christ should encourage each other!
In my case specifically, I came to an understanding of the Reformed faith in 2019, and my wife was hesitant (charismatic background), so having a female voice speak to these issues really moved the needle for her.

What a difference a doctrinally sound church makes.
A sister at church just texted me to thank me for one of my articles.
Seven years ago, we were in a church where the "pastor" (no doubt at the urging of his Beth Moore worshiping wife) spiritually abused us by putting us under "church discipline" because of some of my discernment articles.
What a difference a doctrinally sound church makes.⛪️♥️
English

@PhilemonaLemon @Katy_Faust @xevekiah You accidently bring up a good point. Where the health of the mother is concerned, abortion is never necessary. Remove the child alive and do everything you can to save the child's life.
Fetal viability is a totally bogus metric for elective removal, however.
English

@LibertyForever7 @Katy_Faust @xevekiah Well we have considered removing the fetus intact, but then we'd just have to watch it die anyway. So yeah we're not going to do that. But the point remains: out.
If this fetus was viable by itself it would survive it.
English

@TheCordelia6649 @Aeon212 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby Ectopic pregnancy removal has never been considered abortion. Legal removal has always occurred and well before Roe v Wade.
English

@LibertyForever7 @Aeon212 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby It's also expressed in cases of ectopic pregnancy where the kid isn't in the womb and put both the mother and child at risk, it's seen as an abortion so scared doctors will refuse to operate
English

@TheCordelia6649 @Aeon212 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby Miscarriages do not "fall under abortion", this is crazy talk.
English

@LibertyForever7 @Aeon212 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby Unfortunately under your abortion= immediate death penalty, miscarriage falls under abortion as you're removing the baby from the mother even if it's dead and some doctors will absolutely refuse to remove it under fear of being arrested and executed for performing an "abortion"
English

@Aeon212 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby No need to investigate miscarriages.
All we need to do is make the pills illegal and charge anyone caught selling the pills as accessory to murder.
English

@LibertyForever7 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby The majority of abortions nowadays are done via pills. Abortions with the pills are indistinguishable from miscarriages. Do we start investigating every single miscarriage? Do we potentially kill people who have had miscarriages? What a stupid premise.
English

@theistinthought @HansFiene By that logic there was death in the world before Adam sinned.
And yet God saw all he created and said it was good.
But no animals or humans died before the fall.
English

@LibertyForever7 @HansFiene It is, but that’s neither here nor there
English

@Aeon212 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby I'm saying if abortion carried the death penalty (as it should because it is murder) the natural consequence will be a return to historic norms of being more careful with sex as a society.
English

@LibertyForever7 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby Because it was riskier back then. Now birth control does exist. You gonna delete birth control from existence?
English

@Aeon212 @invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby People had WAY less pre-marital sex before birth control was invented.
English

@invernessequity @Nickisbackbaby The point is that telling people not to have sex has never historically worked on a societal level. People like having sex. They always have and always will.
English

@defnotthensa @Nickisbackbaby If you see someone drowning, only save them if you are going to help pay to support them the rest of their life.
English

@Nickisbackbaby Meanwhile there's you. Force that fetus into the world! But don't you DARE give it's parents maternity or paternity leave to care for them, or childcare subsidies so they can return to work. Or healthcare for the child, or raise the minimum wage. You're pro fetus, not pro family.
English

@SeraphicLaw86 @Egotiator @upstatefederlst The Constitution leaves it up to each state on how to elect electors.
I would argue state legislatures should do it and remove the popular vote altogether.
English

@Egotiator @upstatefederlst Sure, but how do you determine how each state votes?
As for the EC itself, each state is given a baseline regardless of population to balance out the high pop states. Across 50 states that adds 100 votes the don't represent people at all, which seems more unfair to me.
English

The stupidest thing about this map is it is the entire point of the Constitution that a large block of shitheads in the Northeast and Southwest don't get to just assert their will on a vast colonized territory across the middle.
