The SAVE Act is Jim Crow 2.0. It would disenfranchise tens of millions of people.  If Trump is saying he won’t sign any bills until the SAVE Act is passed, then so be it: there will be total gridlock in the Senate.  Senate Democrats will not help pass the SAVE Act under any circumstances.

The idea that I’ll have to spend more in a general than Cornyn is laughable. He just spent $76 per vote compared to me at $5 and was still rejected by nearly 60% of GOP voters. His historic unpopularity would pose a major risk to this seat in November.

Kristi Noem will go down as the worst DHS Secretary in American history. She has been completely complicit in the chaos unfolding at ICE, where deaths in custody have increased by 200% under her so-called leadership. Frankly, she should’ve been gone a long time ago — and she will not be missed. Trump’s deportation agenda has always been about cruelty and the weaponization of fear. So replacing Kristi Noem alone is not enough. Until we see actual change to the policies, procedures, and accountability within ICE, this firing is only performative.
