Just got off the phone with a friend who’s on a college tour with his daughter. One of the stops: The University of California, Santa Barbara. I will just say this: When I was a student at Santa Clara University, we used to sometimes drive down there. In all my travels since - including Vegas/Thailand/Greece - I have never witnessed anything like what I saw at UCSB. It’s been a while, but I’d never seen that level of partying before, or since. Those Isla Vista kids are just next level.

Overall for the weekend, really disappointing showing from the bats. Had some timely hits here and there, but there is a lot of meat left on the bone with this group. Almost every guy underperforming.

Absolutely brutal day for the Diamond Hogs. Were very aggressive offensively, and it played right into the hands of Missouri pitcher Keyler Gonzalez, who did not touch 90 all day. Still above .500 in SEC play, but Arkansas does not have much margin for error down the stretch.

To be in compliance with Title IX, the scholarships have to be equal. The other sports may run at a deficit, but they aren't going anywhere. It doesn't matter if it's defendable.

We head to the 10th inning in one of the more insane baseball games I’ve ever seen. 14-14 after a two-run home run by Gabe Roessler tied it with one out in the 9th. Just your typical Arkansas-Missouri State game!
