I don’t know if I have any way to verify this, but I am 99% sure FSD just honked at another car. Driving down a 45 mph road, a car failed to yield coming towards me making a left turn, causing my car to tap the brakes. As the car cleared, FSD let out a one second honk. 😮

With an oil & gas background, you of all people would know that gas prices at the pump are primarily determined by the global price of crude (a commodity highly vulnerable to “foreign choke points”) with domestic supply factors (refining capacity, regional logistics, inventories & local regs) playing secondary roles. - In the long-run (which Kelly wasn’t referring too at all) you are right but you are mixing longer-term strategy with something not applicable to AZ’s (and the nations) current situation. This has already been pointed out but allow us to reemphasize that: 33% of Arizona’s gasoline — including the entire Phoenix refined products market — comes from California refineries via pipeline. With CA Democrat energy policy forcing the closure of major facilities, this dependency will mean higher prices & tighter supply ahead. Arizona has ZERO refineries of its own. With your military background - you of all people recognize that recent events have shown how unwise it is to allow an economy to be at risk of foreign choke points half way across the world. AZ is no different. We recommend AZ decouple itself from CA energy policy as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing your views. We will certainly keep them in mind.
