Working on a “Hooded Ouroboros” collection of Herm skins. Work your Hermes with style! Kaio has already laid amazing foundational work, just trying to open up the spectrum.

Herm: All-in-one TUI built for Hermes. Chat with your agent and watch it manage everything it touches. 11 tabs. 42 themes. My submission for the creative hackathon. npm i -g herm-tui && herm github.com/liftaris/herm @NousResearch @Teknium @imbabybrooklyn

@l0gix5 @NousResearch @Teknium @imbabybrooklyn I'm using the /comfyui skill along with a workflow: give it a starter image, generate 6 states of video, then convert to braille (⣿) frames. It's still a bit like pulling teeth to get it right, but I plan on making it easy for ppl to create their own when it's good

Comparing deepseek-tui, opencode and Hermes side by side with the same tasks to V4-Pro, I am fairly confident that Hermes is the best agent among them right now. Highest success rate, fastest, and cheapest. A bit of a shame because the other two appeal to me aesthetically.

A herm is a square stone pillar topped with the head of Hermes. This is that, for your terminal. Fun fact: herm's also commonly had a phallus extruding from them. Didn't think that'd be appropriate for a TUI though :/

Built on OpenTUI + Bun. Speaks to stock hermes over its tui_gateway. Drop-in frontend, no fork. I was an OpenCode user that wanted to use hermes. So I built herm to bridge the gap! Kudos to @imbabybrooklyn for driving the hard work in the native hermes TUI gateway

@vmiss33 Am I the only one who thinks the TUI experience of Hermes sucks? Every time I resize the terminal half of the responses disappear. Tried every terminal app under the sun, same experience every time. Reported it several times, their team don’t care apparently!

one reason I love Hermes Agent - it just seems intuitive to do anything at the command line

Hermes Agent tip of the day: There are 4 ways to deal with the model while its running, - Message it, by default, it will interrupt the agent loop, stopping it and making it respond to your new message - /queue will queue up a message that will fire after the agent loop completes - /bg or /btw will run a parallel prompt that is async And - /steer will inject a guidance message into the next tool calls result sent to the model during an agent loop, to try to guide the rest of its trajectory

@sdw I mean, it is a text/chat app, not jazz. What do you mean by soul? I think simplicity is key, and they seem to have gotten it down 🤷‍♂️

Well, the official ChatGPT app for iOS is here. Rather disappointed to see that the design is so incredibly… soulless. One of the coolest problems in design now is to make AI products humane, ethical and approachable. Removing all soul is not the right move, in my opinion.
