@D111367836 @chnmharish Mr @D111367836 these incidents are related not only ragging, but 'institutionalized bullying' of a GIRL STUDENT. This is a visible proof of lack of safety in a govt college. If the affected girl is your family member, you won't be criticizing this social media post

@chnmharish Serious allegations shouldn’t be turned into social media narratives without clear evidence. Spreading unverified claims can damage reputations and mislead people. If this is genuine, it should be handled through proper channels with proof—not posts that raise problems

A deeply disturbing complaint from a student of Government #Erode Medical College has exposed a serious breakdown of safety and accountability inside a Tamil Nadu government institution under the #DMK regime. The student, a young MBBS aspirant, has alleged that she was subjected to prolonged ragging, harassment, and systematic intimidation by senior students who functioned like an unofficial student council with unchecked authority inside the hostel. According to the complaint, she was repeatedly pressured to vacate her hostel room against her will and was dragged into multiple meetings where she faced humiliation, threats, and isolation. The situation escalated on August 21, 2025, when she was allegedly confined for nearly 4.5 hours late into the night, forced to sit without back support despite suffering from a spinal condition, and continuously pressured until she broke down physically and mentally. The very next day, unable to cope with the fear, pain, and helplessness, she attempted suicide by consuming excess tablets and had to be hospitalized. What makes this case extremely serious is that the allegations do not stop with ragging alone, they point towards a systemic institutional failure and possible cover up. The complaint states that even after her hospitalization, the college administration failed to follow proper procedures, allegedly instructed medical staff not to record the case officially, and discouraged her from pursuing a complaint. She further claims that the warden pressured her to withdraw her complaint, and that the inquiry conducted later was biased, ignored her evidence, and instead targeted and intimidated her and her family. Even after submitting proof and raising the issue through multiple channels, including emails to the dean, no meaningful action was taken against the accused students. Importantly, this complaint is not based on mere allegations but is supported by multiple attachments that add weight to her claims. These include medical records from her hospitalization, clearly establishing the seriousness of the incident, RTI replies from the college confirming that the so called student council had no official authority to interfere in hostel matters; audio recordings that allegedly capture threats, coercion, and misuse of power by seniors; and email communications sent by her and her family to the administration, proving that authorities were aware of the situation from the very beginning. She also highlights that key inquiry documents were denied even through RTI, raising concerns about lack of transparency and possible suppression of evidence. Taken together, this case paints a troubling picture of a government run institution where unofficial power structures were allowed to thrive, a vulnerable student was pushed to extreme distress, and the administration failed in its basic duty to protect her. This raises serious and unavoidable questions for the DMK government, which oversees such institutions. Tamil Nadu often projects itself as a progressive state with strong governance and a focus on education and women's safety, but incidents like this expose a stark gap between narrative and reality. When a woman student inside a government medical college hostel is allegedly subjected to such abuse and then denied justice, it reflects not just an isolated failure but a systemic issue. The government cannot distance itself from what happens within institutions under its control. If these allegations hold true, it is a clear failure of oversight, accountability, and commitment to student safety. Silence or inaction in such a case only deepens public concern and raises a larger question, are students, especially women, truly safe in Tamil Nadu's government institutions today?

Indigo @IndiGo6E assist me in cancelling the flight ticket for yesterday's journey. There is nobody from Indigo airlines to talk in Delhi T1. Allow me to go out of airport and give refund to me. There is no point in keeping passengers inside terminal like prisoners
