The investigation tied the Bucks' hands imo. If the Bucks let him run around for old times' sake, how would they justify sitting him the rest of the games to the League Office? Just one more reason Giannis' approach to this season has been clumsy and counterproductive

Also shoutout Kyle Kuzma man. Guy has been a consummate professional since arriving in MKE. Much to be desired on the court, sure, but a lot of it has been him being put in impossible spots. He’s done and said all the right things to try and help this team. Has all my respect.

Yep, It was obvious many months ago that Doc lost the locker room. In fact, the only game we really looked like a team - playing together - was when Doc was gone and Darvin Ham had to coach. Ham had the players laughing, feeling good, playing loose.
Doc instead is chastising, blaming people to their face, and seemingly taking no accountability. Look up my resume? Dawd your resume as a player and coach will get you into the hall, but as a coach your resume is chaulk full of underperforming teams with really great talent that get bounced early. You won one chip as a coach and it took a STACKED boston team with Ray, KG, and Pierce arguably all still in their prime or very close to being in their prime.
It's arguably any coach could have one at least one title with that roster for the years they were there. Doc has the most blown 3-1 leads in the NBA as a coach.
The resume lookup, ain't great. It reeks of a "I am untouchable, you should listen because of my past". It's like, nah man.

After all the things the Bucks have done over the last decade to accommodate Giannis Antetokounmpo, from having significant input on coaches and players decisions, he now has the audacity to publicly bash his bosses.
Antetokounmpo once again showed his immaturity yesterday when he talked about the Bucks’ decision to not play him in absolutely meaningless games and about his dicey future in Milwaukee:
“It’s like a slap in my face. So I don’t know where the relationship (with the Bucks brass) goes from there.”
If I was Bucks management, instead of once again accommodating this self-absorbed and ungrateful employee by trading him to one of his desired destination places like NY or LA or Miami, I’d Fed X him to Memphis or New Orleans or Washington.
He could then play to his heart’s content on an abysmal team in front of a near-empty arena and before a fan base that really doesn’t give a damn about the NBA.
Maybe then, he’d come to his senses and realize just good he had it in Milwaukee.

Seems worth pointing out right now that Giannis can sign a max extension projected to be about $276m with the Bucks on October 1, 2026.
If he is traded, he can sign that same contract with a new team, but not until April 1, 2027. That’s basically a whole NBA season in between.
