🚨 New hypotheses on the five Italians who died in a cave in the Maldives 🇲🇻🇮🇹
While waiting for the GoPro footage and the analysis of the divers’ equipment that is being collected
Experts are beginning to suggest a possible “VENTURI EFFECT”
Let’s take a closer look at what it is, for those who are not familiar with it 👇
What several experts are suggesting, based on reports circulating in the media and in technical diving communities, is that the Maldives cave accident may have involved a Venturi-type flow effect caused by the geometry of the underwater cave system
The Venturi effect occurs when a fluid (in this case water) passes through a narrow passage:
* when the passage narrows, water speed increases
* pressure drops
* strong, sometimes unpredictable currents can form
In open environments this is already relevant. In underwater caves it becomes far more dangerous because the flow is forced through tight, irregular rock formations
How this applies to a cave system
In submerged cave environments:
* chambers and passages are often connected by narrow “pinch points”
* at depths of hundreds of feet, the rock geometry can channel and accelerate flow
* even a small constriction can turn a weak current into a strong jet-like movement
This can lead to:
* loss of stability for divers
* difficulty maintaining direction
* higher gas consumption due to physical effort
* disorientation in already complex environments
What media and experts are hypothesizing
These are not confirmed conclusions, but the main hypotheses include:
* a narrow connection between chambers at significant depth (potentially over 100–200 feet)
* an unexpected internal current stronger than anticipated
* a funneling effect creating localized high-speed water movement
* combined with low visibility and a highly complex cave structure

#BREAKING Italian newspaper @repubblica has reported a new hypothesis surrounding the Vaavu Atoll #CaveDive tragedy, suggesting the divers may have been caught in a powerful “Venturi effect” current inside the cave system. According to the report, pressure differences created by currents moving through narrow cave passages may have pulled the group deeper into the third chamber, causing disorientation, reduced visibility and eventual air depletion. The theory is now among several being examined by Italian and Maldivian investigators following the recovery of all bodies by Finnish cave divers. #VenturiEffect #Maldives

@jl9444172 @BEATHOR55 @TheFarRightSide You believing trump is a nazi is what makes u think that re education camps and destroying statues is okay but thats the exact same mentality hitler had in 1937. I could say its okay to lock up all libs cuz theyre nazi’s but that would be unamerican
