I disagree. I'm commenting on how foolish it was for the gaming media to have carved out some odd rationale that a game deserves a 10 out of 10 simply because a review is in love with the vibe. That's not how movie reviews work. It's not how life should work. They should have curbed their enthusiasm and written a useful critique. Instead they squeed.

The only hip areas are loop and south city, and that’s if you don’t mind seeing the same people all the time. Plus very little diversity. Good music scene and park though (forest park)

@WestLoopTom There is no better city than Chicago but St. Louis isn't terrible without a car. Went there for college and rarely longed for a car. Their public transit hits a lot of hot spots but you'd have to be strategic about being close to groceries and the metro as buses aren't robust

I'm still so upset that Blue Point is being shut down by PlayStation. Demon's Souls Remake is still one of my favorite games on PS5 and they deserved to make something of their own or keep remaking games from the past brilliantly.
