And whether they are ‘the true originators’ or not, the so-über-popular Beatles doing a track like that influences many!

@Kenny_J_Miller @NataliaAntonova I can understand it with the twangy lead guitar intro and the shred riffs that follow. However, it doesn’t contain the lower level almost malevolent feel necessary. A song that isn’t metal but has that feel is Who’s “I Can See For Miles”.

The Beatles were a fun, sexy band in 1963, and progressed to being such legendary freaks that they shifted the landscape. “Helter Skelter” helped create the metal genre. Rubber Soul is the OG gateway to psychedelic rock. This isn’t musical criticism, it’s edgelord bullshit.

WYWY is maybe the most stunningly beautiful and meditative track they ever wrote, that or Sun King sonically. How *couldn’t* one be chilled out by it? Flabbergasting.

I feel like I enjoy I’m Happy Just To Dance With You a lot more than most seem to. It’s a very simple song with pretty repetitive lyrics, but the energy is fun enough where I don’t really care. The transition from main verse to bridge is just very compelling!

@pepsibong I want to hear the kid’s thoughts on how they access their own music library…I know for a lot of us collectors, we don’t know exactly what we want to listen to when we want to listen to something. We look over what we’ve got and something might trigger in our brain.

@CommanderHales1 I legitimately put I'm Happy Just To Dance With You in my highest tier when I put all the Beatles songs in a tier list based off how much I personally like them (not objective). It conveys such a youthful approach to love, almost like an old-school High School sock hop dance.
