People hating on either version don't know that both of them legends can co-exist without any issues

@GOGcom 8 games in the series have tank controls, one cannot be a fan of RE if they don't like tank controls.

While it’s quite a controversial topic, we believe that tank controls add to the intensity of the gameplay experience that defines the whole Resident Evil series. We specifically kept them when reviving the original RE trilogy on our platform and adding it to the GOG Preservation Program, as we see them as part of the original experience and a necessary “friction” that ultimately adds to the masterpiece status of these classic titles. And what’s your take? ;)

I promise it’s ok to dislike tank controls. It’s a fucking video game. They’re meant to be fun. If someone isn’t having fun, clearly it isn’t for them. Everybody has a preference.
