This lan Event seems sketchy.
Its in Moscow so I geuss not everyone can participate.
Also it went from 20k last event to 50k right before the Major.

@Leg1oNcs @eugenio8a8 @VqltUK You are rewarded for aiming on target and controlling your spray. You are more likely to hit the opponent by doing that. It doesn't have to be a 100% guarantee to reward you for accuracy

I should be rewarded for aiming on target and controlling my spray, regardless of the weapon. My SMG does less damage than the rifle at range already; there should not be any RNG to nullify my aim and spray control; it makes it less skilful. I have 0 ability to determine how the RNG will fuck me over.

@PABoss33 Because Valve chooses to balance with RNG instead of range. If Valve didnt want a Mac10 to shoot that far then they could just limit the range. Instead, Valve chooses to use RNG for balancing which is lazy

The problem is when OTK is either easy to do or almost impossible to counter. Perfect example: Protoss Mage. Extremely easy to do + almost impossible to counter. The opponent stalls you the entire game. And, even if you manage to build up a decent board, it does not matter: his OTK turn will ignore your board, including taunts, and go straight to your face with a gazillion of damage. I find this pattern of play toxic, unfun, and detrimental for the general meta since every other deck is forced into a tiny box: can you beat this deck? No? Then you can't use this deck to climb the ladder, even if it's your favourite archetype. Such a situation can easily lead to player frustration & player drain.

I've been reflecting a lot and I've come to believe OTK decks don't deserve the hate.
OTK players are just trying to win in an efficient way while solving a fun puzzle. What's wrong with that? The point of the game is to put your opponent's life down to zero

@Mauisnake @kassad For once in my life I agree with kassad. There is no point in picking a 2nd best team right now as it's irrelevant and most likely wrong. There is such a huge gap between the top1 team and the rest that whatever team is the "closest" to reaching them is just... whatever

Don't really agree. Events will always crossover cutoff points for different events, they can't all be managed. Yes the major one will always see an increase.
Teams need to be better managed. TO's need harsher punishments for teams accepting and then dropping.
If you can freely accept invites and dropout without punishment because the TO removed their rules about this exact situation, how is that Valves fault?

Valve is going to have to figure out something with these VRS cutoff dates.
Right now you have lots of teams dropping out of events to play different events in a mad dash for points.
TO's can't operate properly if teams can just drop out last minute to play another event.

@UltimateHearth @Nohandsgamer It's a bad card in basically every matchup except the ones that it hard targets and wins against, like Egg. It's a bit more general purpose and less bad than other traditional tech cards but in the majority of matchups it makes your decks worse

@trutzonline Hilft es nicht (jedenf. vielen nicht). Ich habe es erst gar nicht gekauft (wofür 9€ bezahlen, was man nicht nutzt) und meine Familie (Pendler sind während des 9€-Tickest aufs Auto umgestiegen, weil die (oft mit Lustfahrern) überfüllten Züge für Berufspendler unerträglich waren.

Also the gaming market is evergrowing, meaning they sell more copies of their games to more people

@IHateFallGuys Saleries and costs have gone up, it’s only natural that the cost for the finished product goes up. Some studios put multiple years into games hard to get lower than the 60-70 games usually go for. Hard to have quality and a good price (yes there are exceptions) not the norm tho.
