Might be the fact we have more trophies mate. Or the fact we have more seasons in the top flight than you, and more in the Premier League, and more in Europe by a LANDSLIDE (🤣) 154 games for us, 4 for you. Might be the fact we’ve won trophies such as the league cup and European trophies which you’ve never won in your entire history since the second you were founded.

Mackems hate the harsh reality of this. Our squad is better than theirs, it’s as simple as that. Spurs beat Man City every year, doesn’t mean they’re a better side. Sunderland are having a new PL season bounce, they are feeding off the excitement of being back in the top league. But it’s unsustainable with the players they have. It’ll wear off next season no doubt. I also still think quality will prevail come May and we will finish above them once again, despite it being their best season in 20 odd years. No need to panic my fellow mags 🖤🤍

Promised myself I'd keep my head down, but I can't. If some of you can't see that 2 champions league campaigns and an actual trophy, the best day of our lives, doesn't buy you the time to put it right? Then I'm at a loss. I really am. 🖤🤍

The annoying thing is on paper we do have better players than Sunderland. So why havent we beaten them in the league since 2012 ? Simple Sunderland played like a team who wanted to win. Newcastle on the other hand played as 11 individuals who in the 2nd half didnt look arsed.
