Had dinner tonight with 8 entrepreneurial couples. Every single one is moving. Good bye @MayorofSeattle. You’re the nail in the coffin of Seattle and you will be memorialized for it.

I caught a grad student at the movie theatre last Sunday. I take my kids there to see Super Mario Galaxy and I see a grad student three rows up. I tapped him on the shoulder and told him he either leaves now no questions asked or I speak with his dissertation chair. He left.

I drive a F-350 because I tow 12k+ lbs a lot I hate French people I hate 95% of Women, especially career Women in fake jobs made for Women (HR, E-Mail bots, etc.) Only used Linked for career shit years ago when forced to for work connections. It's a Feminist/Woke/HR nightmare. HR should be illegal, done pussies deserve to starve Bitcoin bros are losers pretending to not be gambling addicts Hope I'm in the clear, if not, well, I don't believe in war crimes as a concept. What a silly idea. You're missing people who: Anyone who willingly lives in a HOA governed neighborhood Woke leftists Blacks with any criminal record over age 10 Illegals (Use then as drones controlled with shock collars) Any Woman with nose piercings Any "Man" who uses skincare products, buys designer clothes, or spends over 15 dollars for a haircut People who are turning right and don't use their blinker, or well, people who are turning and complete 95% of their braking and only use their blinker after slowing to initiate the actual turn. Baby Boomers who claim they bought their house as an investment Anyone with hair dyed green past 2024 All H1B workers who can't meet English speaking standards All Only Fans users and "creators" Anyone fined for littering in a National Park, Monument, State Park, National Forest or public park within the last 10 years Anyone who spends over 2,500 dollars a year on average at coffee shops over the last 5 years Tailgaters Anyone who can't list at least 3 of the 5 protections the First Amendment grants us All vegans Anyone who unironically says "Deadass, Bet or RIZZ" in normal conversation. I just decided to stop. I guess we could debate who to draft first, though I'm okay with targeting all of these groups at random before getting to anyone not on the list.

@drterrysimpson My wife and I are big fans of your great health advice on Reels and it's fun to see you fighting the good fight on X too. Don't burn out though. There are more grifters and fat shaming moralizers than any health communicator can hope to tackle. Thanks for all you do!

No one is claiming GLP-1s are “essential nutrients.” That’s a straw man. We don’t “need” statins or insulin either—until biology fails. Obesity is dysregulated physiology, not a moral lapse. And what you’re describing with bariatric patients isn’t treatment failure—it’s poor follow-up. GLP-1s aren’t a replacement for diet and exercise—they’re what make them possible for people whose biology is working against them. And I am one of those people. Lean mass loss happens with any weight loss. The fix is protein, resistance training, and monitoring—not abandoning effective therapy. And all of those are a part of the program. Blaming the tool for bad use isn’t insight. And while some people might just prescribe a pill without lifestyle, that is not what my colleagues do who I know, and since I am in the field, I know a lot of them. So don't condemn based on anecdote - we have standards and we publish them.
Roberto Vallarino@popeyecubs68

Oh really? We need GLP1s? We "need" Metformin? SSRIs? We need all of it? Are these sort of like essential nutrients? We have a pharmaceutical deficiency? I have no beef with people losing weight. But, these drugs are being prescribed to people who will abuse them and will probably create long a term problem as bad as the original one. Why? Because you're prescribing them as a replacement for proper diet and exercise, and not as a compliment. Hence, you create a person who is eating the same crap as before (but only less of it) and is still sedentary. Result: fat loss but also lean mass loss. It's the same result as with bariatric surgery, of which, there are 3 examples in my family....all skin over fragile bones...all have had broken bones and other maladies as a result, and have not resolved hypertension or achieved glucose control, etc.

Tip 10 - HIIT 2x/ week: 30 seconds sprint, 90 seconds rest, 10 rounds. Chronic cardio raises coritsol and growss belly fat. Tip 11 - Walk 20 minutes after each meal: Speeds up digestion and stabilizes glucose. Tip 12 - Lift 3 X per week: Push, Pull, Legs, and core after.

Rumor has it Justice Alito will retire at the end of this SCOTUS term (i.e., sometime this summer). So Trump will have appointed 4 of the 9 Justices. If you'd have elected Clinton in '16 and Harris in '24, by this fall there'd be 7 liberal Justices on the Court. Fuck you all.

@thescottbarber It's pretty easy to understand when you realize it's not a Christian movement. It's a white supremacy and male authoritarian movement. They hate Christ's actual teachings.

Donald Trump was able to use evangelicals and to get them to betray every value they had once claimed to stand for, because as Mark Noll once observed: "the scandal of the evangelical mind is that there is not much of an evangelical mind." Evangelicalism had time to change course, to develop a more robust and serious intellectual tradition, but instead it turned further to one-dimensional hermeneutics as made concrete by the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy, young-earth creationism, nationalism, and rapture eschatology. One of the best examples of this is the pro-life movement. What should have been fleshed out as a broader care for all life, including care for the poor, respect for the elderly and those with disabilities, and environmentalism (as is done in Catholicism and JP2's Theology of the Body), became a narrow political wedge issue that lacked any actual theological discourse or philosophical structure.

While I agree that Trump has made it socially acceptable to be Christian again, I don’t think this is a good example. Granted, I’m from Texas. Maybe y’all in New York or California had it harder, but we Texans were always allowed to say Merry Christmas. Grocery store cashiers said Merry Christmas. Companies had Christmas parties. And sure, some people said “Happy Holidays,” but I always just interpreted that as them being inclusive of Jews and New Years. It’s not offensive, it’s just efficient. So while I agree that Trump made Christianity cool again … This isn’t connecting with me … 🤷🏻‍♀️
Right Wing Watch@RightWingWatch

Franklin Graham opened CPAC by hailing Trump for standing up to the "secular socialists in our country" by using the phrase "Merry Christmas": "It's not a little thing. It was huge because it put the woke world on notice that we're not gonna take it anymore."

100% this. It can be Medieval history or the National Football League or Taylor Swift, it just makes your life better to take the time to care about things and develop some knowledge about them. Hell, I like all three of those topics and I'm a happier person because of it.

If I were 30lbs overweight with a big belly & my goal was to become unrecognizable by summer 2026, here's everything I'd do: 1. Cut out alcohol as much as possible. It kills your sleep, recovery, fat loss, gut health, and more.

Typical timeline of the American normie: • Varsity athlete in HS (peaked at 17) • Big Ten/SEC school, blacked out Thurs–Sat • Moves to a “fun” city for 3–4 years to continue college lifestyle • Slowly becomes a slave to a normie desk job • Settles for a beautiful mid at 31 because “it’s time” • Promoted a few times, still checks Slack at 9pm • Buys a house 45 min outside the city in the suburbs • Gains 30 lbs and calls it a “dad bod” • Develops a concerning addiction to gardening/lawn care and Costco runs • Sees friends 3x a year if lucky • 2 family vacations a year (one beach, one obligatory holiday) • Pops out a kid to run the exact same script is this the dream or did we all just agree to it?
